@@crisfiler6128 its still real wattage, but the subs now are way less efficient than the ones back in time so you need a lot more power than back in the days to get as loud but subs in general can take orders of magnitude more power now anyways.
@@BH4x0r Depends what you call ' Real Wattage' the figures some manufacturers use are a joke nowadays.... PMPO ect.....RMS is the real figure to look at.....and speakers are a lot more efficient nowadays... 100db with 1 watt RMS @ 1 meter was unheard of in the 70's /80's

18:25 is what what we all live for!! I don't have the right to say it bc I don't even have a car, but I love the feeling of eardrums vibrating from bass, the sound, ported subs pushing air and the most mesmerising thing is the sub moving in person.

Usually i do 80 and 80 high and low to be safe then my radio eq i dont have any tools to do it like exo
tuning all depends on the setup your having, what car, size sub.. . its so personal to your likings.. EQ does a lot..
My only issue is the higher bass notes disappear. I've been listening to the same songs forever and I know when to expect the bass notes to hit and the higher ones don't.
I recently switched (upgraded) to a pair of Skar SDR-10 and an Audiopipe 1500 amp. Subs are getting over 700 watts RMS each. The subs are in a prefab box. The box can't be the issue because I had it in the previous car and the music sounded good.
Pioneer head unit. Kicker 6.5" in all the doors with a Toro mini amp. 80x4 watts.
All professionally installed first time ever. I'm making more money and I thought it would be better than asking a cousin or someone to do it. Obviously I'm not at all very good with audio installs. I've been tweaking all the level on the bass amp and the radio to see if I can get those bass notes back and I just can't figure it out.
@@davidnievesjr.9478 Most likely your low pass filter (lpf) is just set too low for your music. Easy adjustment to make. If you don't want to fiddle with it yourself take it back to the shop.

Hey just a quick tip to make your amp stack look a little more awesome you can use aluminum tubing as a spacer and to hide the threads in between the two amps keep up the good work 👍
Something that i really like about subwoofers is when they're really moving and then high frequencies come up and they're just staying like

MAAAN this was so sick brother! ive been out of bass for a few years but ive been thinking of getting back into it but just like one good 15" like 5k rms. my old system was 2 15" team ascendant audio teams the 4k rms ones on 4 soundqubed 3500s. I regret selling everything.... seeing your face was priceless man,THANK YOU! i lost my son recently and ive been mega ultra depressed and struggling with finding myself now that im not a dad and thats all i knew. He loved the bass just as much as me and we had many good memories together with bass. i think it would be good for me and be a positive thing to help me. anytime i was down i always went and listened to my bass and i was alot better. i miss being able to do that. thanks for taking the time to make this video and share it man, it was awesome. I’m right there with you! I haven’t heard my system for about 2 months. My battery sensor gave up and took the battery and alternator along with it. I haven’t had the chance to get the replacements, other than the alternator.
It was a year or more for me since my amp died, but I just installed a new one tonight. I'm nowhere near that kind of stuff though, I'm more than happy with 600w through a 10". I couldn't imagine what this madness sounds like.

Something ive been wanting to see. Not only the db reading inside the vehicle. But also outside of the vehicle. Like do a distance test. First see how loud you can get from inside the vehicle, right outside of the vehicle, 10ft, 25ft, 50ft, 100ft, and 1000 feet away. I was talking to a guy that says car bass doesn't travel far out in the open. I know that ive heard 6 block bass before. Its insane when it goes by your house. Maybe everyone can take part in a distance SPL challenge. Figured it would be fun.
