He is a nice guy but he is already with another woman. So it was a random choice on her part. But then again, his girlfriend was picked by another guy, so she had went with him for the day. So although it’s a shocking mix it was not gonna create drama.
He wanted to stay back so he could spend time with another girl, and he's friends with Nadine, who's the girl who made the selection. He's happy she didn't pick him to go, even if it wouldn't have been romatic, so he could stay back with the girl he liked. I think I'm right, but it's been a while so i may also be mixing two instances together 😅

@@tendouhairgel7612 I can somewhat explain. I watch some shows in my language but sometimes I couldn't understand the word so I use English subs (it's easier to understand). I'm more exposed to the English language than my native tongue so that's why I prefer to watch with subs on. Maybe some of the people in the video need the subtitles because some of them either aren't used to Korean language or are still learning the language. Though this is just a rough guess, it's not the case for everybody since this is just based from my experience. I hope it gives a little clarity though!
