a comment on the power button not being accessible - you can use the clamp and tilt the microphone 45° as it is in the handheld adaptor and then press the button. not really an issue. However: I get handling noise when holding the adaptor. you really must not change the grip on the microphone mid interview.
I was thinking the same question too, since I have the Saramonic Blink 500 set up as well... I would assume that this would work for it since the transmitter connects via a cold shoe mount, so I would think that the cold shoe connector of the Saramonic transmitter can just slide into the Rode Interview Go mount, then covered with the foam windscreen.
I have not but then again I have not really looked. I would imagine you could probably (although not ideal) use a black sharpie pen to cover up the RODE logo.
@@metagamers I saw one person use it. I understand that RODE is doing this for free marketing. But just think if someone were to produce something adult rated or off-color (not politically correct).... because RODE plastered their logo so big on a product without options, essentially they are giving people permission to film their logo in any way they feel.
@@metagamers Thx for the quick reply. F/u question - from your experience how far away can the transmitter be from the speaker’s mouth and still capture good audio? I have the GO and want to use it to interview a couple. Can I just place the transmitter say on a table between the two of them and capture both voices? This is for church so trying to do something on the cheap. Thx!
@@carlosprovyrivera8522 I think it would be possible but in my experience the Go works well when pointed directly at the talent and not too far away. If you can position the go in such a way that it is facing both people it might work out but I still fear you will loose a lot of the bass and power. Worth a test for sure before you try it in the real situation.
I have the go 2 dual. Will one of the transmitters fit in this
Thanks for the review on this. Question would the Synco G2 work on this mic? I would think it would unless the belt clip is a different size right?
Nice review and demonstration, I’ll have to get one for my GO setup. This and a GoPro would make for a super portable interview setup. Cheers, Dave.
Thanks!
Very useful video about the Interview kit. Thank you!
Is there anything that enables using any normal XLR mic with the Rode Wireless Go system?
You could try the Rode VXLR adapter but I’m not sure if it would work. It would also add additional bulk.
super helpful video thank you. i actually was so dumb to originally think it was a microphone that you could pair with your wireless go
this was an excellent review for the handheld adapter!
clicks link to buy!
What camera and settings did you use for this video? I like the composition and overall look/colors.. Thanks!
For this video I used the Sony ZV-1 in full auto believe it or not!
that was simple and to the point, thanks man
So the wireless go is included??
i just wish it was a tab cheaper 😅
I love that! Thank you
Sold! Ordering now. 👏🏽
that windscreen really helps with your PLOSIVES!

Great video!! Does the rode wireless go work with the Canon 90D?
If the camera has a microphone 3.5mm input then it should work.
Great video
HELLO, it works for those who are very similar but from the Pixel brand, they are a little bigger so the doubt
Can it use for saramonic blink 500?
I'm confused. Do you get the full mic for the 30 dollars or just the plastic stick?
Just the stick.
It is so you can use the wireless clip on mic also as a hand held mic - for doing interviews etc.
can this use with saramonic blink

Is this compatible with the dji pocket wireless microphone?
does the rode interview go mic work with gopro hero 9
The s sounds are way too high
Have you come across a windsscreen that does not have RØDE on it?
I was looking for one for this on Amazon. Because who wants to have RØDE on it.
I have not but then again I have not really looked. I would imagine you could probably (although not ideal) use a black sharpie pen to cover up the RODE logo.

Anyone know any alternatives to this ?
Can I connect the mic to my iPhone?
Just bought one using your link
Thanks
Great video ı need that
Is the audio processed? There’s so little noise even outdoors.
No changes made to the audio, this is straight from the device
Great Video & Review!!
Curiosity question - can this be screwed into a mini tripod and placed on a desk to be situated between two people?
Do you mean the handle? It does not have a thread but I suspect if you find the right size clip you could do it.

Do you think the Synco G1 could fit on this Interview Go ? Thanks
yes it works. Synco G1 and Rode have the same Hot/Cold shoe mount size.
@@Marine_0317 do you think the hollyland lark 150 works aswell?
