My primary preference in only grip, for which one i should go for ? h1 or this
If you’re looking for grip, then go for Ceat Sportrad.
Thank you soo much for your honest review. I was confused between the Sportrad and the MRF Steel Brace for my dominar.
Always a pleasure bro, have you decided to go for Sportrad?
Hello brother. My R15 V3 needs a new set of tires and my options are Tvs Protorq (140 or 150) and these Sportrad pair. What would be your recommendation for my usage which is mostly spirited riding in the hills.
For hills I personally prefer ceat sportrad and they have been great so far.
Great review man. Just concerned about the ground clearance. I bought the TVS Protorque Extremes. Good thing is they are stock size, and around 10K mark. But these CEATs also seems pretty good. Waiting for the long term review❤
Thanks bud, glad I could help. I didn’t see much difference in the ground clearance (practically) although the rear tyre is now a bit shorter but when riding, it doesn’t make you feel weird, it just feels normal. So far done 1k on these tyres and they are holding good like new. Yes, will have to see how much long they eventually last (expecting atleast 12/15k), I do find then priced reasonably well. Do keep me posted on how TVS Protorq extreme performs 🫶🏻
Brother say about wet grips and cornering stability
Hey bro, the grip on wet surfaces and during cornering is excellent. These sticky road tyres provide a lot of confidence and stability while being economical. I've tested them a few times downhill in moderate rain while cornering and had no issues at all. However, with any tyre in the rain, please be mindful of your speed.
@@Ravzzy thanks brother for the excellent review keep it up 👍
@kunalmedhi7275 thanks bro, much appreciated. I will come with another review of this tyre once I complete few more thousand kms on it.
bro im confused bw h1 and this one . i usually ride at higher rpms 7000-8000rpm in the city . plz tell , i am willig to install only rear one , my budget - 8000
This is a W-rated tire, meaning it can handle speeds up to 270 km/h. It offers excellent grip-likely the best in its class-and mine have held up very well over time. The tire is durable and performs exceptionally in both dry and wet conditions. Its tread pattern is designed to effectively channel water away, reducing the risk of aquaplaning. Stability at high speeds is impressive, having been tested up to 180 km/h. It also fits within your budget, making it a highly recommended choice.
@@Ravzzy thnx bro
Always a pleasure bro 👊 ride safe 🫶🏻
Can i use this tyre on my duke 200 please reply im bit confuse
If you are confused on the sizing, then this tyre profile 110/70 R17 (front) and 150/60 R17 (rear) is suited for duke 200.
Is it better than alpha H1?
Depends on what you are looking for from a tyre. Sport rad are more grippier than h1’s and I loved them when leaning on curves. A person I met at a tyre shop had h1 installed on his KTM 390 and it looked the grip was virtually lost after 4000 kms, he did ride my bike after the tyre was installed and he was jealous 😅. Things you need to know, there are no long term reviews on these tyres as they are new to market, pricing is similar to h1’s. If you install h1’s it wouldn’t be a bad choice either, both are very similar in many ways.
I've used the alpha h1 for 30k km on my ns, and it started to lose grip after around 20k. Now I'm considering whether to get ceat or stick to another set of alpha. Main use is city riding with corners.
Do you ride on mountains or it’s mainly highway riding? For highway riding you don’t need grippy tyres, I prefer grippy tyres for mountain curves
