- Sarge hops on the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 300 which has gone pretty much unchanged over the last 5 years, to see how it stacks up against the current crop of singles like the KTM RC 390, the TVS Apache RR310 and the the BMW G310RR as the only sports tourer in this segment powered by a parallel twin mill.

Riding for more than 10years still gives goosebumps
Was a blast to let it sing
Cool. How many kilometres covered?
Me too did 54k kms in almost 10yrs. That engine is love. And I still remember Sagar’s review from 2013 which I must have viewed atleast a 100 times before I bought her home
How about maintenance
@@RajKumar-dg6kvowners left the chat 😂
The reliability of the kawasaki bikes are great. Recently rode a 12 year old ninja 250 and the engine was still very smooth.
Good to know
Am driving .. 19yrs old ambition bike and it's still smooth
@@SagarSheldekarOfficialppp
I OWN THAT LEGEND 250
@TheNuvish Haven't you driven a yamaha.
I have one practical point:
Parallel twin, which can scream at 13000rpm ridden practically for sports touring (which means sitting around at 4K-5K RPM at 100kmph) with Kawasaki's bullet proof history tells me this bike will run for years and years compared to a single cylinder motorcycle.
I may be wrong, but I think , if I make a logical reasoning twin cylinder motor is always better for longevity compared to a single cylinder and one that especially comes out of Kawasaki stable.
True that
@@SagarSheldekarOfficialI knew you will say True. Just the that was an addition from your side lol 😆 i have become very spiritual lately and I know you have a beautiful soul yourself. Anyway i am going for the bmw 310 i want to enjoy the badge haha
Still own the ninja 250r. I must say the quality of the ninja ever since it was manufactured in India has dipped quite a bit as has the fit and finish. My ninja 250r is an absolute blast till date. Wouldn't trade it for any of the current 300-400 cc bikes.
Lucky you
A 250r? Holy hell that's old. Must have kept it mint for it to be still running
@@thehungking Absolutely. Just love her to bits. Unadulterated fun bs-2 😝😛. The sound alone is worth the 3 lakh price tag.
@@varun1036 Thx mate.
What year did they start ruining quality of ninja?
Still riding a 2014 Ninja 300.
I love it without all the fancy tech because it takes me to the rawest sense of being a motorcyclist. 🙂
4 years riding this as my regular commuter, but I still falls in love with it everyday like the first day. My first bike (learned riding bike on it) and nothing can't replace the feeling of it.

Quick question
Is it worth for the city ride?
How is the low end?
@@trishnavpradeep2803 Absolutely, I use this bike 80% for city 20% for Long Rides. It runs like a Honda shine under 5000 RPM (shine added the weight ) and can filter traffic even at 3rd gear. Heat won't bake your legs. The only downside in city rides are Speed Breakers because of the low ground clearance you have to be cautious.
@@trishnavpradeep2803it’s amazing low end too you won’t complain and won’t even notice that much honestly. Been riding ninja 300 from 2 years. Only complain is ground clearance only if you’re riding with pillion.

Your Ninja300 review in powerdrift was what made me purchase the bike. I absolutely love this screaming green goblin. Also I think the design is timeless, even after 6yrs of owning this I stand back and stare at it. Thank you Sagar !

Dear Sagar,
We (Me & My Younger Bro) have been a true follower of Yours since your early motoring video days in Powerdrift. Watching your PD videos of Ninja 250 vs CBR 250, Ninja 300 even now brings goosebumps. Honestly there are several Channels Creaters but are very very Special, You are a Gem Man.
Great to see you recreating it Again with the N300.

@@SagarSheldekarOfficial I wanted to know if you have reviewed the BMW G310rr. I am searching your channel to find a video related to it 😢.
Yes He is
@@gss2298i have kept that bike for 10 days and riden over 200kms its a good bike, Typically both TVS Apache RR310 and BMW G310 RR is same in all aspects. If you are interested choose anyone which is convenient in terms of brand and post purchase services and spares
I recently purchased this bike it's really a mini beast yeah it's has the initial lag till 4000 rpm but after till 12000 really it's killing no vibrations recently I went a trip almost 1200 kms cruised arount 120to 140 but still it me the mileage of 30 kmpl... the only bad things are breaks lights and initial lag...... no other cons.....
You nailed it as always Sagar. We hope that the R3 still lives and with the updated version, it will be a perfect balance of power, touring and technology
It will all come down to the price
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial - Right Said Fred! On Road Price will make all the difference for the R3 coming soon !
its dead on arrival friend
Today i have done my RTO for 2023 KRT Ninja300, spellbounded to see a review for my bike from you even after a decade of nothing changed motorcycle, that's the quality & reliability of this Japanese machine. Ninja 300 will be relevant timelessly. Can't wait to get her onroad!
Indians will never understand quality unless ride a Japanese motorcycle. Indian brands are good even great sometimes. but Japanese something else. they even rule European and American streets for a reason.
Congrats on your purchase
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial Thanks buddy!
What’s the on road cost bro? @vigneshduraisamy
@@srikanth-cs8en2023 Ninja 300 is 4.16 on road chennai.
It's not a bike, it's a testament. It's a case study of a product surviving adversities of a hostile market. It's a win among the lost causes. It's a love letter to the name tag Ninja. And most importantly it's a bike which made Sargent smile ❤❤
But it can do with an update badly
wow! beautiful presentation, riding style. cinematograhy is just awesome!

Awesome video once again!
The background music in the last few videos have been sadly blah. Not that it is much of a problem though.

Continental GT or this , as they fall in same price bracket ?
Sagar, I would like to say that your videos always has a emotional thing to it as well apart from the information/review which is a result of an artistic touch and that seperates you from the rest. The video, audio, review, location, climate etc has a pivotal role on this. I am pretty sure the KN300 owners watching this video must have felt that more ✨. More power to you !!and as always, the best review❤

Can we apply the "Rain Coat" product which we apply on the helmet visor on the GoPro lens as well..?
No idea
@sarge ninja 300 has always had an advantage of parallel twin over other. Sounds great . When Sarge reviews it it's icing on the cake . Kudos to the review
Just surprised it still makes a good case despite going unchanged for all these years

Sarge. Still remember from the PTR days where CBR 250 vs Ninja 250 comparison video came. Have been following your videos since then.
I kinda feel ninja 300 is the gold standard for beginner sport/track bikes. And with the reinvention of ninja 300 in its BS6 iteration kawasaki has done some changes to increase its top speed, earlier it used to do 194kmph top max, now it does 199kmph (speedo indicated)
Ninja 300 is nowhere near to being\having any miniscule characteristic of a sport bike
it’s got a few, the power delivery, the riding posture, or maybe the fact that it looks like one and is marketed purely as a beginner/daily driver sports bike moron
Its Platinum standards for anyone rising from a beginner bike 😊
- My only complaint would be that metal tank which can store 17 liters of fuel makes the bike heavy.
Kawasaki should equip the ninja 300 with a fiber tank with 15 liters capacity, that would make it considerably lighter !

Can anyone let me know what are the current service cost?
Given it is being manufactured here?
Need to choose between a second hand Royal Enfield 650 and the Ninja 300
I am assuming I can get a whole engine rebuild on the RE for the cost of changing clutch plates on the Ninja

@@SagarSheldekarOfficial Thank you
3 yrs now ..its still a beast , recently bought the 1000 sx ..thats awesome...proud member of the kawasaki family
Riding Ninja 300 from 5 years... still feels the same refinement when I took it outside showroom in 2018,
Good to know
2 services a year it comes close to 15k to sometimes 20k which is like liter class service costs. Have the 300 bs4 from dec'21 and the service costs have literally doubled from like 4k to 7~8k per service with no replacements in like 6 months in 2022. And still keep rising
This is what Kawasaki are famous for, their motorcycle has cheaper price tag compared to the segment but they copup this cost from service charges.
It used to cost 26k for the chain sprocket kit remember
@@SagarSheldekarOfficiali just recently changed the chain sprocket for 6K...from 26K to 6K
I have serviced my Ninja 250 back then, I sold off around 2018. It was 10k to 15k each service that time also without part replacement at Kawasaki service centre
Sagar bro ur vedios are awesome and also your style...
Can you tel me which place is this

Any suggestions for tyres replacement ? Michelin would be good ?

Great review as always. I have the Ninja 300 2022. Can you suggest a better set of tyres to replace the stock MRFs. There are not a lot of options in the 140/70 R 17 size
Either down size to 140/60 Apollo S1 or 150/60 Apollo h1. Or trampler st 140/70-17 with this you can go wrong with but not a out and corner craver
@@MAX-xw8xq Thanks man. The S1 Alpha is non radial and the Tramplr won't go with the Ninja's DNA. And upsizing to The H1, 150/60 R17 would sacrifice the already low ground clearance.
You can look at the tvs protorq
