I ride 2017 Ninja 300 to commute (21 miles or 33 km one way) in Chicago, U.S. In general, it is 30-40 mins of city traffic and 10-15 mins of highway riding. So far, I have been riding 1,500 miles (or 2,300 miles) per month. I think Ninja 300 is a near perfect commuter bike because (1) very light to control, (2) reaching a highway speed of up to 90 mph (145 kmh) is not that hard, (3) riding up to 1.5 hrs does not tire your back or wrist due to the relatively upright position, (4) a full tank range can go up to 250 miles (400 km). However, the downside is that (a) acceleration from 75 mph (or 120 km) takes too long for passing a car on a highway (my top speed with my Ninja is 112 mph (180 kmh), (2) my butts get sore if I ride more than 1.5 hrs straight.😁😎
U wont believe it, I just took a test drive of this bike today in Bangalore.. Loved it to bits, but the only issue is the price.. On Road prices of Bangalore : Ninja 300 - 3.91 lakhs; KTM Duke 390 - 3.21 Lakhs; RE 650 Twins start from 3.07 lakhs OTR Bangalore.. Also one more concern is Kawasaki has only one service centre in Bangalore n that's in Jayananagar.. For someone in Whitefield it becomes an issue :(
Mr.Strell that was long pending from your end since 2016 i was expecting you will review the old Ninja :D . The disclaimer at 6:27 take a bow man, thats makes a lot of sense on Road safety context. That was a great review. And yes the braking from Endurance is not as efficient as it was with KRT and SE Nissin. And i think Michelin pilot street is doing a great job already!
This is the 2nd video I saw from you, and the moment you mentioned about mirrors in this as well, I hit subscribe 😂 I too believe in seeing what's happening on my back too!
The only problem i faced is the bottom scrapping very easily, and when you have a pillion you have to be very careful. Easy to ride in stop go traffic and it doesnt jerk like the 390's and its butter smooth.
Hi Strell ! Thanks for all the help, education and entertainment. Your videos are truly a package. May I know which touring windscreen/visor should I buy for Ninja 300 ?
Good review man i bought on Hindu New year 22march within 1 week completed 2050 KMS and also got my first service at 945 kms ossumm 🤘 motorcycle Bangalore to Mysore express way covered in 64 minutes 118 kms 90 percent of the work completed ❤😊👍😎
The handle bar wobble has been a problem with the ninja 300 since day 1. It is very prone to tank slappers. That’s why many people change to conical bearings.
Wonderful vlog strell as usual , I own a blue 2019 ninja 300 it always amazes me , it's a wonderful bike , I have done 800km long trip and I haven't faced at least one issue from bike
Bro review of this is very mesmerizing.. I loved the way you audited everything.. but my dream bike is benelli 302r.. Its a request if you can make a vedio or review upon that.
Ninja 300- stability, more refined at higher rpm, fit and finish, engine sound has more character, road presence R3- strong low and mid range power, cheaper spares, feature rich meter console
Good Things about this video - 1. Presentation is good. 2. Voice is extremely pleasing 3. Crisp and quick about topics picked. 4. Too good that you have put the disclaimer about the speed run and its necessity. 5. Overall good content and pleasing to view. Things i noticed, which i feel are not sitting right - 1. Some technical details were superficial, could have added more in-depth details like the clutch [Developed by racing team] and the super hi-tech throttle. Lot of viewers watch such videos for reviews, yes, but you can cater to some of the petrol heads by giving details, trust me we all like a video where the presenter talks endlessly about the bike. I mean Ninja has a pretty decent lineage which you could have added, would have made it more interesting. Adding few more points like how this bike is performing in international market and what people outside india think about it. 2. Point about taking this bike was unnecessary, up till that point i was easing into this video. But when you mentioned off-roading, i felt you went out of context. I liked your video. Keep up the good work.
Can u make a comparo of re650 gt and N300 ? like the ride quality, Ride feel, Suspensions and braking, Gearbox and clutch smoothness, handling and lastly Long ride capability including ride comfort and range.
Hi bro, I am planning to buy either a ninja 300 or bmw G310 r.. which one will be better.. I will mostly use it for commuting, pillion comfort is important & whose service cost and spare parts cost is lower among to two?
This slight wobble on the handlebar is something I've watched on another channel too... looks like it's a problem with all the ninja 300s.. When you let go of your hands it starts to wobble. 🤔🤔 Love your channel Brother and your riding style too!
I'm glad there is a tyre hugger.. I have been behind motorcycles in wet roads and the water splashes all over me when there is no tyre hugger.. So, good that Kawasaki have put it. Just for design, pl don't ask them to remove it because it really frustrates and causes inconvenience to people behind on wet patches. About the grab rail - I guess it is there since it is a government regulation to have saree guard - so they had to put a rail so they could weld the saree guard.
Bro bro bro, finally you made the video!!! I requested you multiple times and now is the day the video is here. Happy to see it! ...but now I own this bike and happy with its performance and persona except the ground clearance. Was badly confused between this and R3. But chose this over R3 because of the budget. But still fan of your cbr650. Thats my dream! One question, would you have chosen this over R3 in this segment?
Strell..❤️ firstly, the video was really good... I own a ninja 300 abs myself.. I need that rear mud guard. Can you please let me know where he got that? A link for online purchase would be much helpful.
The only doubt i have in my mind, that i belong to such who dont have any kawasaki's service center, so can you help me to know that where can i get this thing service?
Ninja has only one competitor. And thats him 😊

R3 2018 is it worthy now or not???
Love your videos 💖💖💖
Please do a comparison with R3. Or atleast let us know if in your opinion the premium of nearly 50K is justified for R3 over the N300.
Could you do a comparo of R3 Vs Interceptor 650 Vs Ninja 650? Please consider the build, ergonomics, cruising speed & about maintenance also.
Ninja 300 vs re interceptor video bro
Tomorrow I'm getting my Ninja 300 delivered.

Between Duke390 and Ninja 300, I will go for Ninja without hesitation unless you do only the heavy traffic city riding..
What did u decided?

Your way of information delivery and enthusiastic voice is cool bruh!!
The problem of wobbling is not because of MRF tyres, because my 2017 Ninja had same problem which was wearing IRC
Wobbling comes bcoz of ball bearing that comes near speedometers readers attached at front wheel
It’s a problem for every other bikes even
This is the 2nd video I saw from you, and the moment you mentioned about mirrors in this as well, I hit subscribe 😂 I too believe in seeing what's happening on my back too!
