Slings are alloud and bags UNDER your legs are allowed (just like using a rock or log while hunting). 7 shots max with 60 seconds to complete the stage. Stop and keep all points you have accumulated. Having the details about the shooters and the equipment made the know your limits twice as enjoyable. Thanks for a great video, keep up the good work.

    Seems as if the anschutz with expensive scope is the way to go.

      The rifle / scope can definitely play a big part in your score. The
      Biggest factor is the shooter himself/herself though. It doesnt matter
      how much you spend on equipment if you never practice to keep your
      skills honed. Some come to win, others come to have fun and enjoy time
      with family and friends. Marksmen Challenge is NOT about winning. Its
      about community, family, supporting the 2nd Amendment, and making new
      friends. For competitors it also gives them more trigger time under
      match conditions. And for new shooters who may be thinking of competing
      its a great way to get started and learn the ropes.

      Im working on our International expansion now. It's taking a lot longer than I had hoped. Still trying to get the website developed and figuring out memberships, etc. We have a hand full of clubs in the US plus Ireland, the Philippines, Ukraine running matches at this time.

      I will have to see what we have here in the UK :D
      By the way i am trying to decide what to get for something like this, i currently have a CZ 452 (the long one)
      What would you recommend? I have a budget of around £1400 give or take.
      Was thinking CZ 455 of some type with one of those lilja barrels and a some ok glass.
      What do you think of something like this?
      CZ455 -

      www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk/bushnell-elite-tactical-6-24x-50-mil-dot-scope
      Or
      Anschutz of some type with a Bushnell scope or something of that price.
      Anschutz -

      If I had my choice I would go with an anshutz. 2nd choice would be a 455 with lilja barrel. If thats the bushnell 6-26 that will focus down to 25 yards then yes, thats a great choice.

    What are the sizes of the targets?

    • @MarksmenChallenge
      @MarksmenChallenge  7 лет назад

      2", 1.75", 1.5", 1.25", 1", .75", .5", .25"

      Are you sure of these sizes? The KYL that hangs from rods follow these sizes, but these look bigger. The smallest looks like 1". Cheers!

    • @MarksmenChallenge
      @MarksmenChallenge  7 лет назад +1

      Yes Im positive of the sizes. I build these targets myself. When you see them on my channel or the Long range shooters of Utah channel those are all my targets.

      Please don't get me wrong, I just want to replicate these targets (I just put together a KYL (from 1.5" to .25") and would like to build one similar to the one in this video. I looked at another video from "Long Range Shooters of Utah" Titled: "Tactical 22 LR Competition How to Shoot Multi Distance Know Your Limits Stages". The video at 2:28' shows the KYL and one with hanging plates 8" to 2" that looks similar to the one in this video. Hence, my question.

      AH, yes, thats the LARGE KYL they ARE 8,7,6,5,4,3,and 2" targets.
