- Our tiny house tour produced a ton of comments and questions so we figured we’d do a “day in the life” style video and answer some of the most commonly asked questions(plus our best friend Allison requested we make this video)! How do you keep it warm in the winter besides snuggling in bed? And do you have a way to keep it cool in the summer? I used to live in Maine and the summers are short but sometimes brutal. Hi Cliff! 😁
Thank you so much for watching our day in the life video! To heat it in the winter, we used the small wall mounted heater at the bottom of the stairs(you can see it as Jillian is coming down at 0:12)! We would keep it on high during the day but at night we'd usually turn it to half because all the hot air rises up to the loft. As for keeping it cool in the summer... we haven't experienced a summer here yet but we're hoping to find an air conditioner that is small enough to fit in one of the windows hahah! ....totally get Cliff "living" to play ball...my jackapoo rescue Linus is same-he goes so far as to stand on the arm of the couch and self throw his ball while giving me the side eye as he retrieves it like duh mom it's playtime ...as far as content, imo any random Maine stuff/fav recipes/future van plans/anything Cliff/living tiny/etc...thx for a lovely vid...

We throw everything in a bag on the far side of the bed and then about once a week we either do laundry at the main house on the property or we bring it to our parents when we go to visit and do it there! I'm curious since you're in Maine, which is about as cold as the climate I'm dealing with... Does this tiny have a basement? How are the pipes not freezing?
Yeah it's a cold one! It doesn't have a basement but it is right down on a slab, the floors get pretty cold when the temps really drop but we put our slippers to good use! We didn't build/design this, the owners of the property did all that themselves and we're the lucky ones that get to rent the space for the time being! Thanks again for your support! -Cody
