I really like the house. The wood shingled exterior is awesome. The only thing that I would have to change if my husband and I wanted to go this tiny is we would need everything on one floor. I totally love the bay window.

I just want to know how Cookie jumped up to look out of the window-such an adorable baby. I have looked at the heater online that you have on the wall by the stairs, does it heat really well? I also love your stove/oven, where did you purchase it? Your home is beautiful, unfortunately, I am a senior and can't do the latter/stairs or carry my little guy up there with me. I could see myself going from the top to the bottom in an instant and it would not be fun. I could sure live on the main floor though-L-O-V-E it!
Cliffy is a good boy, he absolutely loves being in that window! As far as the heater, it does heat very the house well once it's up to temp(there is also the same size/type of heater under my desk as well). We find that with just the one by the stairs going at full power during the day is all we need to keep it up to temp and we usually turn it down to 50%ish when we go to bed at night because all that hot air rises right up to the bedroom and we like to sleep at a cooler temp. The stove/oven is by the brand Premier, we didn't actually purchase it(the owners/builders did) but we do love that it fits in the space so nicely! Yes, the stairs would be tricky for sure, we are glad that we always held Cliff like that on our hip since we got him as a puppy, it's certainly coming in handy now! We love that staircase!! That is really the only real storage in the tiny house(it was built for someone to stay in it over a weekend, never long term like we are) and we certainly fill it up! It's my favorite part of every morning when I get to slide the stairs back and let all the sunlight through the bay window! You guys did AMAZINGLY WELL! I absolutely love that you guys didn't give into "trends" and try to literally make your home like a 1200 sq ft house fit into 399 sq ft... you know? (ie, a washer and dryer, full kitchen, full couch, table, dishwasher, etc.) You guys found what YOU BOTH needed/used the most and put those things inside.... genuinely amazing! Also the large bay window... Genius! Have y'all considered putting like an outside kind of closet thing (on the side that the actual plumbing already a is) with a washer and dryer stacked...? Maybe even enough storage on the top for a little plastic bin for the winter/summer/fall/spring clothing when its not in season...? Just an idea! If you did that and it worked well... you might work even be able to build a little privacy fence around the area for like an outdoor guest seating area equipped with a hot tub! Keep in mind that this is something that could be left if you moved your tiny home.... and another could hook up to it etc. You could even use the fence thing to put a projector screen and get together with friends on a summer/fall evening/night...? ^^Don't mind me with my cooky ideas! Y'all honestly did amazing 👏 congrats!!!!

I just want to know how Cookie jumped up to look out of the window-such an adorable baby. I have looked at the heater online that you have on the wall by the stairs, does it heat really well? I also love your stove/oven, where did you purchase it? Your home is beautiful, unfortunately, I am a senior and can't do the latter/stairs or carry my little guy up there with me. I could see myself going from the top to the bottom in an instant and it would not be fun. I could sure live on the main floor though-L-O-V-E it!
Cliffy is a good boy, he absolutely loves being in that window! As far as the heater, it does heat very the house well once it's up to temp(there is also the same size/type of heater under my desk as well). We find that with just the one by the stairs going at full power during the day is all we need to keep it up to temp and we usually turn it down to 50%ish when we go to bed at night because all that hot air rises right up to the bedroom and we like to sleep at a cooler temp. The stove/oven is by the brand Premier, we didn't actually purchase it(the owners/builders did) but we do love that it fits in the space so nicely!
Yes, the stairs would be tricky for sure, we are glad that we always held Cliff like that on our hip since we got him as a puppy, it's certainly coming in handy now! You could get a murphy bed sofa, and use that in the living area. Then the loft could be a guest space and storage. :)

I love the staircase design❤ The fact that you used the underside as a closet and move it to where you need it.
We love that staircase!! That is really the only real storage in the tiny house(it was built for someone to stay in it over a weekend, never long term like we are) and we certainly fill it up! It's my favorite part of every morning when I get to slide the stairs back and let all the sunlight through the bay window! You guys did AMAZINGLY WELL! I absolutely love that you guys didn't give into "trends" and try to literally make your home like a 1200 sq ft house fit into 399 sq ft... you know? (ie, a washer and dryer, full kitchen, full couch, table, dishwasher, etc.) You guys found what YOU BOTH needed/used the most and put those things inside.... genuinely amazing!
Also the large bay window... Genius!
Have y'all considered putting like an outside kind of closet thing (on the side that the actual plumbing already a is) with a washer and dryer stacked...? Maybe even enough storage on the top for a little plastic bin for the winter/summer/fall/spring clothing when its not in season...? Just an idea! If you did that and it worked well... you might work even be able to build a little privacy fence around the area for like an outdoor guest seating area equipped with a hot tub! Keep in mind that this is something that could be left if you moved your tiny home.... and another could hook up to it etc. You could even use the fence thing to put a projector screen and get together with friends on a summer/fall evening/night...?

It makes one think about when you buy something in the store, as to whether you really need it or not, or is it just more clutter for the house.
This has one of the biggest changes we’ve noticed since moving in! Even when we’re buying groceries at the store, packaging becomes a huge deciding factor if we buy it or not. Luckily we've known that we wanted to be in a tiny space for years so we've kind of been working on dialing in exactly what we use and how often! That was I don't have to continue to live in fear every month wondering if I'm gonna have a roof over my head! (I'm on disability) so it's very difficult to pay bills. Whoops, just seeing this now! Sorry for the delayed response Michele! So many people have asked me about my slippers that we even included it in our newest video we uploaded yesterday! They are the women's "cozy slipper" from L.L. Bean! As far as laundry, we usually do it at my parents when we go over for dinner on a weeknight and food shopping has been surprisingly the same although we find we fit a little less fresh stuff in the fridge!
