Beginner Contact Staff Tutorial : Neck Wraps & Stalls | How to flow with the contact staff

- In this beginner lesson, I will show you the basic tricks you need to learn in order to start flowing with the contact staff without using your hands. The first trick we will look at is one of the most basic moves in contact staff, the neckwrap. We will then look at some stalls, some variarions on both of these, and finally we will explore how you can use these skills in order to move freely with the staff and find your own flow and movement.

I'm trying to learn the tricks and I have a problem doing neck wraps; my hair gets hooked in the staff (even If I have my hair rolled up). Also my stick Is covered by silicone which makes it worse I think... What can I do to help with that?? Thank you so much!!
I wouldn't recommend using silicone grips, mostly for this reason. you should try bicycle or tennis grip!
Can i do Contact staff stuff with a fire staff?
How heavy is your staff?
Hi, the staff in tis video is quite heavy, more than 2kg; but i now only use lighter staffs!
