- Another round of attempts at the adept achievement for The Legion. We're going to be uploading these from stream in rapid fire over the next couple weeks to make sure that we can finish the series before the patch hits.

Honestly for some killers, even four kills is rough with adept but good luck/good job getting them all
true, but i rather have 4k requirement compared to the barely function emblem system.
take myers for example, how tf are you supposed to get gatekeeper iridescent when you have to spend like a gen worth of time just to get normal killer speed.
and thats not even mentioning the bugs
Dude I tried now 30 times with Trapper and I 4k always, but it's like Billy, Bubba, Oni or Plague: You did used your Power? = No Chases = No Adept.
Wraith, Blight, Doctor, Hag, Spirit and Legion (my favorite) were actually even first try done. And I maybe have a few hundred hours actually Killer experience.
And of this 200 hours I spend 180 on Legion...
To be fair, I've over 7k hours on Solo Q Survivor so it's not that I'm noob, but at least an unexperienced Killer.
I've not even the 'sacrifice a total of 1000' Archivement and got Iridencent 1 in only 4 days.. Killer is the easy Role, so should be easy to 4k with everyone.
Next update will give merciless for a 4k.
I honestly want to see the series continue, yes even after the adept changes. The issue with adept and the emblems right now is that it punishes smart play or using certain really helpful add-ons. It's like every adept is meant to be doable as nurse or blight rather than the killers you actually have to use.

I think you can continue this series after the update with just doing adept on those remaining killers with no addons which would make it harder and maybe send yourself to a bigger map to make it even more challenging!

When that second game ended and I saw that the Ada tried to send you to Eyrie, it was like... yep, RNGesus had mercy on your challenge.
I look forwards to the 60+ Killer adept challenges to be uploaded (hyperbole) but really, I love Tofu's Energy and wish I could catch the stream more often so seeing these videos is cool

I got sent to old Ormond in the last couple of days of it when I got adept legion. I wasn’t great at the game at the time and it was just so random. They even finished all the gens so it is possible.
A funny bit you could do as an Intro is explaining your build perks included, as if the 3 perks were totally chosen and not a mandatory part of the challenge
You can also get iri gatekeeper for keeping them in a three Gen for a long time. That’s how I got Plague’s adept
God getting a few killers adepts was extremely rough. I’m glad it’s getting changed after all this time.

Fun Story, I thought you couldn't have add-ons while doing adept challenges, so all my adepts are just with the base perks no add-ons XD
What you could do, is keep doing the adept achievements, but always try to go for all 4 Iri emblems anyways even after the update

i think it would be a better change to make the adet criteria to use the 3 teachables + any other perk
on killer like legion, who have a bad power and really bad perks, it would be nice to have something you can at least try to put your perks to use

They also let the TTV dude go to struggle for no reason . They healed instead of unhooking that last game which would be infuriating considering u were chasing someone else and they were close to the hook.
You can complain about OW all you want, it's an embarrassment of a "game" at this point lol. Excellent video as always, looking forward to more of these!

I’m not sure if it would count towards the achievement trophy.. but it is actually possible to get a merciless without getting a single kill via farming. Now, you need 8 hooks and to max out your points in every other way possible aside from the final sacrifices of all 4 survivors but it at least used to be possible 2/3 years ago.
Doesn't work at Iri grade. You need 4 iridescent Emblems to double pip in Iri, and an Iri Devout requires 100 points. The only way to get 100 points in Devout is to get 9 hooks (10 points), hook everyone at least once (10 points), and kill all Survivors (20 points each).
You can get Merciless at lower grades because the double pip is easier at lower grades. At Ash and Bronze you need 2 less Emblems and at Silver and Gold you need 1 less. So at those grades you can get it without a 4k, though you do still need at least a 2k in Ash/Bronze or a 3k in Silver/Gold. And that's assuming you get Iridescent in all other Emblems.

While I understand the adept change, I still feel like it takes the satisfaction out of the challenge for each killer.

I honestly don't mind stream uploads. I don't know if it's considered to be bad content but I do enjoy it.
I got the adept 1st time in saloon and with tofu’s original 1st plan
19:00 fr 99% of the time I DC from a match it's because the killer refuses to hook me.
Tofu, you should consider a 2nd YT channel specifically for Twitch re-uploads. That way, the people who miss stream (like myself) can watch when they want, but those that aren't into reused content (like yourself) can still enjoy the first channel. :)
He has a vod channel where he uploads all his streams so I doubt thatll happen and I see no reason why he should

They made it harder IMO. Rank reset helps A LOT + even if you do a good game and 1 escapes through the hatch you can still get the adept. With the 4K I feel they made it unfun and a lot of tryhards will slug for that 4K.

Yeah, fast 4Ks do hinder your Gate Keeper. Gate Keeper only erans points over time. If the game ends too fast it can't get full points. And there's no bonus for killing everyone fast. You get a decent bonus for the gates being closed (10 points out of the 35 needed for Iri), but that's it.
I've had super fast games where I only got Silver. 😕
If they’re going to make it like that, then they should make a counter weight for those who want to get the achievement from the people who like to DC I hope that they still set up that way the pass so if somebody sees it does not affect it because DC is a common shitty thing and it’s all too common even with the DC penalty it’s still a thing I know it’s still off but still uhhhhh

I don’t think getting a 4K is easier for adepting than adepting with the old system right after rank reset 🤷🏻♀️…. Because you don’t have to even get a 4K. I’ve let one person get hatch AND had two DCs and gotten my adept on a killer.

Honestly Tofu I would much prefer you upload a video from your stream vod when you aren't able to post an original RUclips only video then to go days and sometimes weeks with 0 videos from you yes I prefer the original videos but something is better then nothing 😅
