If you aren’t already familiar check out the Cocteau Twins song “Millimillenary” in which both Robin(guitarist) and Simon (bassist) each play a bass vi. To my knowledge the only song written and performed on twin bass vi guitars.
Did you make any mods to it? I've read a couple opinions that the default setting is kinda crappy... i plan getting one to play shoegaze too, actually)

pretty much all shoegaze music has that it was created by Kevin shields from the band my bloody valentine and was used in albums glider and loveless all over it. it creates a wall of sound and it sounds amazing. it must be upsetting being deaf.

the band Earth uses bass vi pretty much exclusively
Quisquose by the cocteau twins are two bass VI as well. Also a lot of stuff on the empyrean (John Frusciante)
I saw stereolab and fontaines dc live and both bassists were using one.

Fender sells a great set with a .100 low E that you might be able to find.
