      Your tutorials are fantastic. You have mentioned doing another eye rigging video in a couple of videos so far, will you be making one? Your way of explaining the process is easy to follow and you are very entertaining and I'd rather just learn from you.
      Thank you

    I wanted to make a vtuber model because it looked fun to make. I was gonna start with a chibi since they seem easier to start with. I don’t know what I want them to look like though.

    10:20 if you accidentally rig something onto the wrong side of the parameter (like 0 instead of 1) you can easily fix that! Just right click onto the keyframe and click "reflect". It'll move everything from 0 to 1 (or whatever number you have) and vice versa. This way you won't have to do everything again c:
    (note that it'll only reflect the mesh/deformer that's currently selected, everything else wil stay the way it is)

    • @fennryn
      @fennryn  Год назад

      you're correct! except here, that won't fix the issue I was discussing. I was talking about rigging multiple types actions on the same parameter. If you forgot to move the toggle off zero, you would effectively errase the first set of rigging (eye normal), rather than stack on a new set of rigs (for eye smile).

    i got a little lost on the Eye Smile section because, when starting, after i set the 1.0 keyframe and set the lower lid for the eye smile parameter, if i slide the Eye Open parameter, the lower lid continued to animate throughout the Eye Open keyframes. I dont know if i explained it at all, but basically instead of staying in its curve of the 1.0 eye smile setting, it animated to its normal position at the 0.0 of the eye open instead of not moving
    (basically can you try go a little slower on the parameter stacking part? sorry im kinda dum)

    • @fennryn
      @fennryn  7 месяцев назад

      no dont call yourself that!! its a confusing thing to learn first. Make sure that set your eye open to 1.0 keyframe and THEN click the 'make keyframe' button on eye smile. If the bottom lid is still moving - i'm assuming thats because you didnt have the lid correctly selected when making the keyframes, or you have a deformer sitting on top of the lid that is also moving it up and down.

    Hi Fennryn!
    I need your help, its an emergency😟 when I got to the point where I would reflect the L eye parts...all of the sudden, some of the parts disappeared. Infact they just went behind the parts (for example: pupil went behind the sclera or the higlight went behind the iris)
    I cant move them forward or anything. Can you pls help me?

    • @fennryn

      Hmm sounds like you might be having an issue with something called Doucle Clipping. Its a known bug in Live2D. I dont have a tutorial on how to do Double Clipping, but there are some good walktrhoughs by iDogMini that can help you!

  • @neon577

    I wonder... Is there a way to copy-paste the parameter-dot (or keyframe I guess 😅) into another parameter? 🤔
    So for example, do the eye smile, where you bend the bottom part of the eye, and then just copy-paste that to "eye smile + Eye closed"?
    Because I seem to only be managing to copy the layers instead 😅
    (I'm sorry if I'm being confusing) 😅

    • @fennryn
      @fennryn  Год назад +1

      you could do that using the steps at that 13:00 timestamp. That will let you copy/paste onto another parameter
      And if youre just trying to copy/paste within the same parameter, use Ctrl + Shift + C (or V), just Ctrl + C will copy/paste the layers rather than the keyframes

    Hi, I am stuck at around the 10 minute mark. Idk how to do the parameter stacking. Like I watched the video multiple times and I still can't understand how to have multiple sets of data set to the same keyframes. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    • @fennryn
      @fennryn  7 месяцев назад +1

      sorry i missed this comment. Think of Eye smile as a ''toggle mode" when it's set to 0 - the eye open will operate as normal, when you set it to 1, the eye will open with a curve at the bottom to show the eye smiling. For it to work, the lids and everything need to have green dots on both the eye open and eye smile parameters - if they dont - your stack wont work correctly

    I couldn't leave the iris hidden like it happens in yours, is there a step beforehand to make it like that? I only managed to make the iris appear or shrink when it opens or closes like the sclera... Help t.t

      Make sure you clip the iris to the white of the eyeor else it will appear when the white is closed

      @@fennryn hiii amazing tutorial btw, i got my model a while ago and ive just now gotten to rigging it (college lol) how do you clip certain deformers if they arent ordered next to/under the other. i came from clip studio so clipping is only known to me by clipping to a layer beneath...

    I have abit problem with copying the eye. around 11:00 when you copy the container and clicp ctrl + P, for me itwants to export some stuff or smth, it doesnt paste the eye, eventho i right clip and paste it manually, after renaming it Eye R, select all and click reflect, it does reflect but the eye stays on the position of the eye L. Im total beginner and i have no idea how to grab all the things in newly made Eye R container and move it to the possition where right eye would be Q-Q please help

    • @fennryn
      @fennryn  8 месяцев назад

      that might be because you're using Ctrl P and not Ctrl V - try it again with a V instead of pressing P and see if that works?
