Being a former guitar player is the reason i like baritone ukulele so much, it's been so many years since i have played and these lessons really help me, i can't thank you enough 👍😁😀.
This is the chord that makes me not want to play my Baritone, but with your help I'm actually getting it. Thanks Bernadette! I hope all is well with you my friend! Cindy (teaches uke in the Library)
Found exactly what I was looking for! Trying to learn July by Noah Cyrus and this chord is used on the song. Now I can practice this and finally learn the song! Thank you so much!!
Hi Bernadette, this is good teaching. You understand! F on Uke has always stopped me from so many songs. The way you taught it is do-able. I walked through this with you (It felt like you were right here in the living room with me, LOL). Anyway, if I want to play "Hey, Soul Sister" I am going to havfe to push through it. You did a great job of stepping through it.
I'm learning the baritone uke and this is by far my most frustrating chord. It's in SO many songs and it's really difficult to finger. Thank you so much for making this video, it really helped!
I have concert and tenor ukes and the F chord on baritone is like re-living the B flat chord 😂 I'm still hit or miss with the B flat but I really want a baritone so we'll see how it goes
Bernadette, thank you for these videos; you’re helping us out tremendously! I am wondering though why you don’t also show the way I play this chord - a full Barre with first finger on first fret, then 2nd finger, 3rd string, 2nd fret and 3rd finger, 4th string, 3rd fret? I think it’s because you don’t want to talk about full barre right now - is that right?
So struggling with F on DGBE but also struggle with Bb on the GCEA tunes ukulele since it’s the same position. I can do the chord but transitioning to it is the challenge. 🤦🏽♀️
i’m a beginner, coming from a tenor to a baritone. this f cord is ridiculously hard and does anyone notice buzzing sounds even when you get the simplest of chord right?! i bought a Kmise to learn on! it’s driving me crazy 😜
Ya la regue porque cruzo el indice por las cuatro cuerdas y los otros dedos quedan posecionados en su lugar, quizas tenga que re'aprenderlo tendra deficiencias el acorde en algun momento?. Muchas gracias.
I cannot, physically flatten my first knuckle to hold down b and e strings. My fingers are older, I guess and it is very frustrating. This is the chord that will make me quit!

I love the way you approach and present this this. Many thanks from a determined beginner!
Thank you so much!!!
The "look look look" is my favorite part.
This chord digs the strings so deep into my fingertips. It could be a stopper chord
Small hands, short inflexible fingers (index ~6cm). Can't make this chord. Are there any alternatives?
yes...please!
Seeing the step by step of putting the index finger down was helpful, thanks!
appreciate teaching style - especially being told to 'look up' 🙂
"Look up" actually worked on me every time.
Not me cuz I'm watching attentively eating popcorn and deciding whether I should buy a baritone
I have concert and tenor ukes and the F chord on baritone is like re-living the B flat chord 😂

Best teacher ever.. Love you teacher B.. from PH❤️
I would like to change my strings on my baritone. Do you have a preference?
I love the squeeze release exercise! Thanks you! (Leah)

I was wondering the same thing. So much easier that way!

Sorry, I will need surgery to get the F chord.
