So happy to see you'll be doing baritone tutorials. I bought a Kala 8-string which has the most beautiful sound but I feel like I'm doing something wrong because songs sometimes don't sound like the tune I'm familiar with. Looking forward to more baritone videos! Thanks!
It’s going to be a long time before I get a baritone, I’m a beginner and have a concert and tenor by Enya and hope to get a Flight travel soprano this Christmas. Either yours or Elise’s as I like having the strap buttons. However I love watching your videos so I will be watching but not playing along, yet.😜
thank you SO MUCH for that :) I really appreciate it! Both the sakuralele and the sunset ukulele are beautiful. I think you will be super happy with either one of those!
Haha! Thank you, Scott! sometimes people don't like it when I make different types of tutorials or super easy ones. It's okay, I think about all the people who hit the thumbs up button ;)
Heck, 67 years should have taught me something. lol Keep up the great work, a lot of people love you! Me? I like you a lot but I think I’ll stick with my wife of 42 years. Now if she throws me aside, that’s a different story. 😉 Wes. I know how busy you are but if you get a couple of minutes this is a gift I gave my wife for Christmas. If it were not for the ukulele this would not have been possible. ruclips.net/video/dF7phwM-k1M/видео.html. Thanks for all you do to help us find out just what we are each capable of.
When learning Baritone chords it's fun to look at the guitar version of the chord and smile at the fingers I don't have to use. Guitar C = 3 fingers, Baritone C = 2 fingers - yay!
We recently switched out the strings on the acoustic nobody plays cuz it is a mean little jerk for folk nylons. Sounds terrible. However, the DGBE strings don't sound half bad. I think that I might put this failed experiment to use until I can get my grubby little hands on a bari! XD
Hello 😘 So am I to understand that all the chords for a baritone uke are completely different to the chords used on a soprano or a concert uke? So you'd have to learn more chords? Oh my giddy aunt! 😂😂😂😂
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic Ok. That makes sense! Probably a bit of a challenge for someone who's learning how to play a Bari, but worth it at the end of the day!
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic I am from Philippines and fell in love with the passion created by ukuleles. I don't have any cuz I literally can't have my own ukulele cuz I need to save money for my studies. Hehe hope you help😅😅😅 Love the way you teach😍😍
try moving the thumb to the back center of the neck of the ukulele. Many people "shorten" the length of their fingers by allowing the thumb to peek over the neck.
@@BernadetteTeachesMusic I admire your long fingers as opposed to my stubby fat ones, but I still get the job done - well mostly though I do have a little trouble with some chords. Still learning! Thanks to you.
That ain't a uke It's a fluke disguised as a uke. Time's up, buddy, you're not hiding between ukes and guitars any longer. Time to stand on your own four strings.

It's been three months since I've been playing the ukulele.
And you have been my online mentor.
I thank you for that.
😘
I just got my baritone 2 days ago! I am very excited about this tutorial.
DMG YAAAAAAY!!! Perfect timing :)
i love the way you’re teaching you’ve helped me so much
Thank you so much, Crystal!! :)
Yes!!!! I am SO glad you are going to do baritone tutorials! Thank you dear heart. (Leah)
Yeah! We have a bunch of these coming :)

Hellooooo. I just realised we haven't rolled up our sleeves and removed our watches for a long time. Good to see you do it without prompting!! 🤗🤗
I thought about it after filming a few of these!!! :(
I never forget, when teacher spoke I listened!! 😄😄
New lesson starts! I'm going to try on the guitar!
music_ ukulele_guitar that’s perfect!! ;)
Thats what Im doing as I wont have my Ohana Bari till next week.
So excited for this 20 day challenge thank you thank you 😁
Yay! Excited for you to join :)
Thinks to himself ...
‘Not an F ... not an F’
Plays an F.
:)
:) I had to do that for the LONGEST time!
That would be SO me! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'll wait patiently for the next ukulele tutorial 😊
Thank you so much! I am so happy to be providing new tutorials for you!
Ok. This a guitar with the four first strings. EA...DGBE.
I like the uke tenor. :)
;) that's what I think too
Thank you 😻
lovely tutorial and yes I got that pain too😜👍👍👍
Whoever gave this video a thumbs down should get a middle finger up! Sorry for the snide comment Bernadette but i had to get that off my chest 👍.
Haha! Thank you, Scott! sometimes people don't like it when I make different types of tutorials or super easy ones. It's okay, I think about all the people who hit the thumbs up button ;)
Now you have a new source to learn all your favorite songs. Just pick up any guitar book and the four bottom strings will match. Play away!
Yes!! This is exactly the mindset that will take Bari uku players further along on their playing!

YESS! Exactly :)
Tenor , concert, soprano 1 finger
@@tomzifer927 Yes, but Baritone G = 1 finger😃

Same chord shapes but different chord. A F chord on a regular ukulele is a C chord on baritone. A C chord on regular ukulele becomes a G on baritone
as Ricky said, they are the same chord shapes but now they go by different names :)

First and will be glad if u heart it
I gotchu 😉
so I can't find the rest of the videos on chords only 6, I thought there were 20. awesome teacher BTW
Hope I had a Ukulele😍😟
Where in the world are you? Why don't you have one yet?

Hi! Sorry!! I have school AND you are in the other side of the world so bye! 😅🥰🥰
Have a great day at school!!!
It's easy for you because you have long fingers. C'mon now.
