I found this fascinating, but I believe it is flawed. The flawed premise is that you compared two contrasting methods as if they were the same. In the first visual test, you set the goal of making $100 profit, and worked the system until the goal was met and then you quit. Essentially, in this test, you "took the money and ran." Game over. However, in the simulated graphics you used different method, that is, you ran a set number of 1,000 games, which showed a loss at the end most of the time, but a profit at the start. Had you used the first method, that is, leaving the game with a profit, then your last examples would have to be set up to play out 1,000 games or stop with a profit. Had you quit your charted games with a profit, like your first game, then you would have left with 7 profited games and 3 losses on the first set, ALL 12 profited games on your second set, and 10 profited games and 2 losses on your third set. I'm not defending d"Alembert as a system, but I believe you compared apples to oranges here. Either run the first test 1,000 times like the last sets, or runt he last sets to stop with a profit like the first set.
I win ALL the time with the System and hit a win goal and stop OR take a loss I. E. I drop my bets when things get to crazy and climb back to profits . 😎
@@baccaratchismith How much do you usually take profit before hitting a stop loss? (Especially for TP = SL) Is your most sessions take profit or stop loss?
Great video. I 've found that if you switch your bet after two losses in a row while maintaining the D'Alembert bet count, you can catch streaks as they happen. Had you switched over to Banker while keeping the count, you could have caught the back end of that first loosing streak and made money, or made your one unit goal much quicker. I've tested this with play money on roulette red/black using a much lower bank roll , and using a win-goal model of one unit per session betting multiple sessions, and a 50 unit win per series starting with one unit bets. I haven't lost yet after multiple games. Takes between forty minutes to an hour to win 50 units, one unit at a time. Switching after two losses in a row may be the missing key to D'Alembert.
But if you must or really want to use a betting system, then NEVER pay for one.. just use the free ones , otherwise you'll get scammed out of your money.
The odds will determine win and loss ratio, but the amount of money lost won't necessarily be the exact same ratio since the betting amounts are different, isn't that right?
I don't recommend people gamble with a negative expectation, but for my friends that enjoy the recreational aspect of playing table games with even money propositions with low vigs...i do suggest this betting strategy and some similar ones such as the cancelation strategy. The ability to win slightly less decisions and still come up a winner is good, and I think it gives a casual player a decent chance to go home a winner from a day or couple of nights at a casino location. Casual players get value out of getting to come home a winner, as long as they understand that in the end the odds will prevail.
This is glorious, I've been looking for "how are betting odds calculated?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Meyackentae Foundational Magic - (search on google )? It is a good exclusive guide for discovering how to use this method to finally win at betting without the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my m8 got great success with it.
I have not put as much thought into this as Michael has however my initial thought here is that the simulations in his video are misleading. There is no rule that says you have to stop at exactly 1000 rounds regardless of whether you are up or down. Most of those simulations were in the red at 1000 rounds because most of them had majority losses towards the end of the 1000 rounds. If they had majority wins at the end of the 1000 rounds they finished with a profit. This doesn't prove anything. What we do see is that regardless of whether there was a profit or loss at round 1000, the vast majority of the simulations had points where a profit was reached much earlier on and the player could have chosen to quit while he was ahead and walked away a winner. Or started again with a one unit bet so his new (increased) bankroll will carry him beyond 1000 rounds until more wins are achieved. Please someone tell me if I'm wrong here? In my mind this is a flawless system because your winning bets are always going to be larger than your losing bets and if you play long enough your wins versus losses are always going to get closer and closer to 50/50. At which point you will win one unit for every pair of loss and win rounds. If your bankroll is large enough and your unit size and profit goal is small enough, and you have the discipline to reset every time you reach your profit goal, in my mind, you should always come out ahead. If I'm missing something, I sincerely hope somebody can explain it to me.
James R I don’t think there is anything being promoted in the video. The point was to show the house advantage at a 1000 shoes. It’s pure math taking a sample amount with certain variables. If anything it helps you make better decisions. A thousand sessions is a lot. Many things come into play asides numbers. Fatigue, doubt, mistakes ... sure you can put a stop loss to protect winnings... but it’s purely at your discretion. No system is absolute ... I don’t want to deter anyone from cliche remarks but there’s a reason casinos are still standing. What is needed is confidence and knowing your limitations... because that’s the only thing that will allow you to bet and allow you to grind back your money. Limitations aren’t necessarily monetary ... but limitations in the time, effort, and knowledge. Many gamblers will watch this and make comments based on what has already happened... hindsight is 20/20. Murphy’s law is quite apparent in bacc and you can use it to your advantage
You are right simulations cannot predict if you will loose or win .it is only for a certain way of betting like if you bet only on red for 1000 spins straight
I agree, I'm still convinced that despite the house odds, if you have a big enough bank roll and stop once you're ahead then more money can be won than lost despite the odds difference. This system allows you to lose more than winning and still be ahead sometimes
4181, I totally agree with your assessment. I am currently doing exactly what you described and have always gotten out of holes and hit my small profit goal and rest my bet to the minimum when achieved. I have had very fast profit goal wins and some that took hours, but it always came back and won. I know the math that I have about a 48% chance of winning red or black on a single zero wheel, but I wish I could determine the math of winning a little more than you lose every time and resetting your bets after small wins looks like. I think using this system with everything described gives you probably a 55-58% chance of a profit, combined with a 48% chance of winning is just enough to stay profitable in the long run I think..
An interesting idea although likely to more successful betting on the Dealer rather than the Player being that the probability I have found to be slightly more frequent. My suggestion is to make another Clip betting on the Dealer. In your clip the Dealer won 16 times, the Player won 12 times with 2 ties.
I hope you can mathematically explain in equations and variables, or even excel like you did in basic strategy, and calculating house edge. It will be very interesting if you can do that for each betting systems.
Sir, how would be the betting mechanism for D’alembet if we play roulette with 2 dozen, I mean 65% winning probability? How many units should the bet increase when we lose and how many units should it decrease when we win?
I would like to know how many chops were there? How many time did it go from banker and player in a row.... on a RNG you will not win but real dealer you will. .. this is no way i would lose 10 straight times because i would have moved my bet to other banker as soon as I lose...
Great video thank you! Can you please explain to me, if i have a 250x bank roll, at what point should i “stop”? Say if i hit 20 consecutive losses and my bet size is 20x. Do i keep going until i run out?
The system was made for the banker bet, because unlike every other even money bet in the casino the banker bet WINS more than it loses. Yes we know about the commisions.
Agresive press bet can cause u loss a lot of money.. u are not 100% win 2nd or 3rd bet .. but if u understand martingale method, that's the best way to play it.. I didn't say martingale can guarantee u win profit.. depends on ur playing style.
Would like to see D'alambert on the BANKER baccarat bet-the only even money bet where you are more likely to win than lose. Even with the commisions? Would love to see a million hand simulation.
The reason in the difference in win %ages is in the drawing strategies for both and the fact that banker's draw will depend on the player hand. Banker only drawing a third card when the player's draw IMPROVE his hand. It is similar in BJ, but here comes House's edge from the fact, that dealer acts after all, so player can bust first before dealer takes decision.
I'm baffled. If the goal is to win just one unit then 49% of the time you would win on the first roll. All the math would be the results of the 51% of the time you lose on the first bet which would need to be added to the 49%.. However this doesn't make any sense to me either.
Go Up one unit when you lose Go down two unit when you win Or vice versa You shouldnt go up and down by equal units ... Please test d'alembert in this way and share the results ...
Everyone who plays gotta have a way they bet. Most people don’t flatbet because it’s boring. But yes I agree don’t pay for false promise of betting systems. Use free ones.
If you play on one banker or player on a RNG... you will lose. You have to play follow the winner. I guarantee you will win.... baccarat don't chop as much.... you have to move your bets...
I follow the trend. If I see 4 hands of chop. I start betting opposite the last winner. I change player or banker based on the winner of the last two hands.. follow the dragon or get eaten by it.
I’m looking for a system I had seen before. You bet 1-1-1-1-1. If you are down you go to 2-2-2-2-2. If you win you stick with 1-1-1-1-1.Does anyone know what it’s called?
if i start with 200 or 300$ and my goal is to win 50$ or 100$, then this system fails. If my goal is 100$ and i have 10k credit. there is way more easier and faster ways to get that goal
These old systems have many flaws... why don't you try something new... there are newer better systems out there... ya just have to know where to find them!

You still win with this method?
Yes whenever you’re up and you wanna play it safe, you can always reset to your original 1 unit. Good luck 🍀.
Thanks Michael for summarizing in the end, that no betting system can win the house. And that nobody should ever pay for one. Very good tips.
