  • Apply for an IRS payment plan online to save you time and money. This only works online when you have a total IRS balance under $50,000. If your balance is over $50,000 you will either need to call the IRS to get set up on a payment plan, or get the balance under $50,000 then apply for the payment plan online.

Will it affect my credit score? When I get citizenship, will there be a negative point in front of me in such delays? Thanks!

    I already have a plan setup. before i set it up i made 2 separate payments. Well the IRS is refusing my payments now. Then i find a table that says that normally you can only make 2 payments a year. Unless you have a payment plan, then you can make 2 a month. I paid twice in june. Now it wont let me pay in July. So im i screwed? since i didn't read does the irs have me by the balls?

      Yes you can! However I would recommend to file your 2022 tax return before you set up the payment plan in case you owe on the 2022 tax return and cant pay by April 18th 2023. Then you would be able to include that 2022 amount in your payment plan.

    Hello, my parents filed their married jointly taxes, and they owe a balance to the IRS. They were told they could see and pay the balance online. Since they filed married joint taxes as they have been for years, do they both have to make separate online IRS accounts from each other to see the balance they owe the IRS, or do they just have to create one online IRS account since they filed married joint taxes?

    • @eataxresolutions
      @eataxresolutions  5 месяцев назад

      The amount should show up on both of their accounts online. I recommend you create an account for the "primary" taxpayer. This is the name you see first on the return, and make payments (or set up a payment plan) from there.

I entered the total amount of money I owe the federal government and set the payment date to April 17th this year. I look at my checking account and it appears the entire amount of money I owe was withdrawn at once. I was under the assumption the system would divide my payments automatically into 6 smaller payments. Will the IRS continue to withdraw money from my account even though I squared away my debt??
