I'm actually listening to you now with the Insignias, lol! Just got them and testing them out now. I think your a little too harsh on them. They generally sound pretty good, to me, for the price. I know there are better out there, but overall I think for what you get it isn't bad. Now, maybe for me the reason they sound good is because my setup is in the corner of a smallish area where the sound can sort of bounce off the walls, and the sub is on a lower shelf near the floor, which is good for some bottom firing subs. That could be it, but I think they're a little better then what you said. JM2C ☺ Thanks for the honest review anyway.
This might be a dumb question. I want cheap speakers to connect to my bluetooth record player. I see that the subwoofer needs to be plugged in, but then would the speakers be able to connect to the record player after that is plugged in?
You say the satellite speakers aren't very good quality, sound very tinny..... I've found quite the opposite. You can certainly control the volume of the sound coming out, though it's quite different from what you, or I, are used to On the Nintendo Switch (yes, the Switch has Bluetooth support):. AFTER you have paired/ connected the speakers, you control the speaker volume via the HOME menu (bass is controlled via subwoofer knob) Windows 11:. Go to the Volume Control mixer to control speaker volume
can these be used with a windows 7 desktop pc? mine has bluetooth capability but I need wireless speakers since the wired jack in the back of my tower has a short.
They should work on just about any Bluetooth devices. They also have a 3.5mm headphone jack output just incase. But if it's Bluetooth in particular you are looking for, anything Bluetooth around the house like a soundbar or portable jambox speakers should be able to be picked up. Maybe try that out first to either test the Bluetooth functionality or to save yourself money
They do not need to be plugged in to a computer to work. They offer Bluetooth functionality so you can use them on just about any device you want. Super simple, super easy. I used them on my smart TV and my phone.
Thank you my young friend; you're definitely not sponsored by Insignia!
Insignia is my go to brand. Everything I review is stuff I buy and collect.
for some reason, the speaker doesnt change color when i press the button on the back (or if i hold it)
Maybe try to do a switch at the store. Could be faulty hardware.
Thank you very much man, money saved
No problem! 🙂

Bestbuy on eBay is better
@cjgt77 has your aux circle thing stopped working at all?
@@chappiexanz5089, sorry I haven't noticed. I use bluetooth.

The volume knob that had the blue light is actually the Bluetooth receiver as well as a headphone jack so you could use it for your record player
@@HeyItsJK Thanks!

What mic do you use?
An older model blue yeti
If I don't hook up speakers, will the sub work as a stand alone?
Yes, if I remember correctly.
