Krystol we don't eat it very often and that is why it was out of date...it was actually over a year past the best by date...turned out great. I don't know how the date passed that far. I think I had in my mind that it was 2022 not 2021 on the box. I like to have a few boxes in the pantry especially when I pick it up for $0.99!
Thanks for sharing. I love the sunflower crunch kit too, but I've started copying it. The base is chopped cabbage and carrots, way cheaper to diy. It's amazing what you do ❤

We are a cereal eating family! Always have a couple boxes in the pantry...ok maybe it is actually a couple dozen boxes. The boxes go quick with my husband and my 17 year old son. But I refuse to pay full price for them. 🤣🤣🤣 I am going to be looking for more cereal on sale for part of the Christmas present for my 20 year old daughtershahaha!

Earlier this month Kroger/Smiths had their General Mills “GIANT SIZE” boxes on sale for $2.49 with their digital coupon. The boxes are 1 lb 11.6 oz! That was a fun purchase. I went later in the week so some of the fun cereal like Reese’s were gone. But I was able to get some Lucky Charms and Gokden Grahams.
Ooooo that sounds like an amazing deal!! I love shopping at Smiths when I travel out of town...I have one 80 miles north of me and 100 miles south.
They make Rainbow Chip frosting still. I made a cake last month with it.
