Interesting your fishing gear and technique you use over there Paul. I don't see those rod holder resting stands over here and I like how you tie clip your hook to your sinker wire. Here they sell a imp clip which is similar but more for surf beaches and long casting. Whiting is very tasty ate it a lot in Oz. Enjoying these vlogs, great you don't people around you, how I like it lol
Cheers Mike, I just turned the laptop on & saw you had just uploaded & thought I must catch up with your latest vids & then I noticed these comments, I will watch your latest offering straight after I reply!! I've been watching a lot of wild camping style vids lately so your latest vid should be just about right for a rainy Saturday morning in the UK!! The fishing techniques/tackle may differ slightly but the need to be out in the wild away from all the madness is universally what connects people like us together, wherever they are in the world!! Can't wait for my wife to stop her aerobics on front of the TV so I can watch the vid in comfort!! All the best & stay safe, Paul.
Ha ha haaa.... lol...I loved the last part of the video. I've fished under that pier lots but in summer and autumn. Remember my story of my prawn trap. 15lb of crabs in 15 minutes.....lol....
Cheers Rod, it shows they're there to be caught, I spoke to a fella the other day at South Fambridge & he said he'd had five in one session this year already!!
I've heard many stories of the fishing off of the jetty & under it too, last time I walked on the jetty the security guard confronted me like I was a threat to national security!!
Great video Paul, I've been fishing the crouch, (North of the border), for a few years now. I'm going Bassing Sunday in a SWF creek hotspot, I'll let you know how I get on. Tight lines mate!!!
simonizer68 thanks & keep me updated, I don't get to fish the North side very often lately, I used to love fishing around Holiwell past Burnham but I haven't tried the creeks around SWF ever so it would nice to know how you get on, good luck & all the best, Paul.
@@shorefishingessex Had 6 schoolies, smallest 19cm biggest 32cm, definitely bigger than last year, very healthy fish! Had most action an hour before high tide, plenty of bites at slack tide, but difficult to strike into. Light tackle and all caught on rag, weed was bad 45 mins after high tide, but soon cleared.
Top effort mate and some fishy looking venues there, what happened to the goldfish? Lol 😂 One good thing about doing this species hunt is you catch fish on these mark that you never knew where there but you have to think outside the box and try different tactics to what you normally use! Great video as per usual mate keep um coming! 😉🎣👍
Loved the backdrop of this video........bloody lovely 👍
Stephen that one early morning was perfect wasn't it?
Well done on the Thornback mate. Well earnt for shore...sure.....
Cheers Tel, I want more!!

Great video, I had a great lure session for school bass under that jetty a few summer ago.
