Nifty way of presenting the bait. Also frozen might slow down the crabs a bit. The thing is since damaging my back I can't easily travel from Chelmsford. The bus will take me to battles bridge. My main interests are bass ray and mullet thick lip. Is there any place along the crouch where currently I can have a decent chance ?

Small Fry Productions thanks for the support, I struggle getting past the schoolies with the lures, from the shore but I have a spot in mind for the kayak, I want to try live baiting for the bigger ones later in the year- hopefully I will get it on camera 🎣🎣

@@breakingwavesangling17 mate, I’ve tried so hard to place that spot but I can’t, did you walk left or right from the steps/path from houses? Been three times and always left ,past the cut in Beach and to the next point . I just lose gear and no fish. Was told that’s where to go but you are fishing quite far back, is it a sand slope infront of you? Seen them come out the other side but can’t find them this side. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi mate, I have Hurd that people get bass there in the summer, but I haven’t fished that far down the river, might be worth a go 🎣

@@C1dagoat491 I’m sure they do come up that far, I can’t see why they wouldn’t, would be best to fish it after a dry spell, as an influx of rain would most likely push them further out.
