Hi Michael, I‘ve got a question. I like the bult-in chinese signs. But I can‘t embroider them, if I don’t know what they say. Do you know it? Greetings Dagmar
Hi please please can you tell me i have a 11000 janome machine that has stop working but i have the embroidery hoops can they be used on another janome machine thanks
How much clearance do you need from the back of the machine to the wall when using the 550e with the largest hoop? My machine is on a table that is against a wall.
GREAT question! I have my machine up against the wall, too, but pull it out about 6-8 inches when using the RE36b hoop. That's more than enough room, but I'd rather err on the side of caution to not mess up the design or the machine while stitching.
Click the Settings icon (wrench) and click the Embroidery Settings icon (machine with hoop) Scroll down to Maximum Embroidery Speed to increase + up to 860 Stitches Per Minute, or decrease - to 400 Stitches Per Minute. Happy Sewing!
400spm is as slow as Janome embroidery machines will go. Make sure the fabric will secured in the hoop, but you could stop the machine at any point if you felt you needed to adjust the fabric, etc.
No, I would not use the regular embroidery hoops for quilting. There's a special AcuFill Quilting magnetic hoop which makes quilting in the hoop a breeze!
HI Karla, Yes, the Embroidery Editor software comes included with the MC550E!! It's very simple to navigate, but has built-in help files to guide you through step-by-step. Happy Sewing!
@@christinastella6 the machine doesn't scan, but comes with software so you can print templates which help position the design on the fabric just as you want it
Enjoyed this, thanks

@@janomehqjanomecanada4908 Thank you so much for your response! I didn’t want to try using that hoop without knowing how much clearance I need.
The 550E machine paired with Janome Artistic Digitizer software is the best !!!!!!
Thanks for the explanation
Please help me on how to increase speed on my Janome 450e

And the cloth setter ❤️
And the thread stand ❤️
Have you used the the larger hoop for quilting?
No, I would not use the regular embroidery hoops for quilting. There's a special AcuFill Quilting magnetic hoop which makes quilting in the hoop a breeze!
Does the Embroidery Editor Cd come with the 550e box set??
HI Karla, Yes, the Embroidery Editor software comes included with the MC550E!! It's very simple to navigate, but has built-in help files to guide you through step-by-step. Happy Sewing!
Can I get these designs for the 500 E
The monsters and Sashiko designs are built-in to the MC550E and not available for other machines
Could Janome MC 550e be used for edging embroidery like on the lace blouse (edging the neck, armhole, etc)?
YES! So long as it'll fit in the hoop, it can be embroidered!
@@janomehqjanomecanada4908 Could it scan the fabric to the machine? So, we can know the position we should to embroider.
