I've had mine for about 3 weeks now is the best flashlight I've ever owned!!!!👍👍👍
Happy you're enjoying it, it's a great light!
Good job and good light too....
Big Kiss to FRANCE ❤
Merci d'avoir regardé!
It's a good option and I love the side-light. Makes a great portable reading lamp, night-light or mood light. Don't underestimate the weight, but if you think of it as both a flashlight and power-bank replacement, it is easier to forgive. The one thing I really dislike though is that deep USB C port. None of my existing cables would fit! The connector must either have a really slim body or an extra-long plug.
It's probably a mixture of luck of the cables I own and that I'm coming off of reviewing the Boruit V20, which was abyssmal for cable compatability, but the IF23 seemed pretty good for me. I really like that the powerbank feature is there, but wouldn't forgo a real powerbank because of it. That said, I traditionally 'carry heavy' anyway, so the weight doesn't bother me, but I can certianly see it being a pain point for some. Thanks for watching!
A beast of a light. Love it to bits. Would not drop to 18650 due to powerbank facility. Also quarter twist battery housing for hard lockout, no 4 click malarky
The powerbank is a nice extra to me, I'd just love a family of them in different size/weights! And good call on the physical lock out, it's my preferred method when I feel lock out is needed.
@gearedforward I'm all about converged flashlight/lantern/powerbank in 2nd carry, supported by additional power in tier 3. Rovyvon A8 for troos left pocket with Victorinox compact
@@Bodestone I just got an interesting light in today, a Trustfire with a side light that's even more compact than an Olight Arkfeld, I think it's a nice pocket option in the same category. I love my Rovyvon lights too though, I should probably do some videos on them soon.
Just got one yesterday but I think its going back. Way too many button presses to remember for something I'll use occasionally. I immediately wanted to try it then immediately put it back in the box.
That's fair enough, if you're not familiar with side light flashlights then it can be a lot to get used to. Not for everyone!
can anyone help me on locking this light out for e.d.c. ? , i cannot have the button turning it on when in my pocket or in a ouch/case/holster , etc on my hip/belt , etc , i love this light but cannot figure it out and sofin will not help at all ! > tom !
Hi Tom!
You can lock this light out with 4 quick presses, it'll flash the main emitter to confirm it's locked out, another 4 will unlock it. You could also do a partial turn of the battery cap, but on this light I prefer the UI lock out. Hope that helps!
@@gearedforward brotha i tried this , it did not work for me , sofirn told me the same thing , i wanna e.d.c. this light BUT i need to figure this out , email and maybe we can talk on the phone too possibly , i only have a landline phone # here though , thanks brotha > tom !
My only complaint with this light is the color. I'm sick of black flashlights as they disappear in the dark. I find a bright silver light is easier to find.
I'm torn on this, I understand wanting colour and I like collecting colourful lights myself, but I don't know if it would be commercially viable for Sofirn to make multiple colours of this particular model.
Glow in the dark beads/lanyards are great for rectifying this issue though!
@@gearedforward I always bought black mag lites until they started making silver. I was sold on the idea then. I see your point. The Chinese come out with a new offering every day. No time to really get a design right.
Plss next time go must darkness
Thanks for watching! I do darkness beamshots for my flashlight reviews in a RUclips Short, there's one for this light too :)
