nice build btw and it's a really idea!
edit: I like how you made it look gloomy and dark so it would have the illusion that it's an above ground neighborhood and so the vault walls aren't that seen until you go closer to it.
Yeah that was partly the inspiration for this one haha. I loved that quest.

Fallout 4 always had a really good base building system and you are definitely using it to the max lol
i kinda feel like "max" hasn't been achieved yet haha.
Cordless vii did it years ago. His was an underground prewar sanctuary in a vault. Still cool tho.
Its inspiring to think about the lighting, I wonder if contraptions might make a day/night cycle possible? A timer & tinkering. EDIT: I just did some searching and found mods like 'Timer Power Switch' or 'Zabrinas workshop devices' can do timed power on the nexus. I think I remember in your other vid you went with unpowered lights because they were brighter, but perhaps there are some super bright lights that are powered, if not, maybe there are other ways.

The SOE mod might be good for light I use it for my builds
Yeah SOE has some great light options. I have been playing with it. Still trying to figure out the best combination.
