- Heyyy everyone!! I am in LOVE with this pendulum ! This was a special request using the Rastafarian colors mon’ !! I hope you like it, the Jamaican Colors look so good with the Black Hurricane like Pendulum Pour over it !!! Let me know if you would like to see more like this!!!! It does look blue to me also - on PC screen anyway. So, is it black or is it blue? lol
Something you might think about in the future is filtering the paint as you put it in your cup. The chemical make up of plaint causes it to form random clots over time. Paint filters are very inexpensive, and can really save a project like this from destruction.

The weights look like they really help in keeping it tight! I need to add more to mine, as it will "wobble" a little on release, and then straighten up. That's OK if you start outside of the board, but not good if you want to start the lines on the board. I've been working on a particular shape, and it will only work if I'm able to start my trajectory on the board. Nice pendulum work ChelC! You did a fantastic job with all of your lines!

Nice one, i don’t know if you tried it or not, but i imagine if you make it a black painted canvas and the cup filled with a combination of 5-6 colors , dip a stick stir it one time slowly then start moving your thread. Just an idea. If you did it before pls send me a link. By the way i am new to this , how do you hang your cup and how do you balance it 😀Thanks
I’ve attempted using like 4 or 5 colors once but I don’t think the choice of colors were the beat as the muddled up together lol ! I do have a how to video on my channel I can send it to you ! I’m not sure what you mean by doing a dip one time slowly

I attached it with fishing line to a structure made of wood mounted to the table with clamps. I am about to come out with a video about my set up probably today.

Did you thin the black paint? What size hole did you use?
People don't realize how important that is in order to keep laminar flow so you get a nice steady stream of paint flowing, while not thinning it too much..
Yes, I did have to thin this one down it was super thick ! Yeah finding that balance right between the two are 🔑
This is really pretty can I ask what you use to poke the hole in the bottom of the cup I’m sure it has to be small but I was wondering because I am going to try this
I used a drill with a 3/16 inch bit. I am going to have a video posted on the complete set up today if you want to check it out
