That’s a good idea to sew the bias with the lightning stitch as I name it. Bellardine is something like a gabardine. I have to look gabardine now, wait. So it’s a twill wool. 😂
I agree with everything you say about the photos of the patterns, but the fabrics they show are amazing, love love love the green suit from the cover x
Camelia , I love your videos! I agree with you on the pictures, they are way more interested in showing the best picture they got than in showing the garments 🤦🏻♀️. It’s lazy work, I think. Now, all in all, I do like the issue.I like the fabrics , I do have a thing for sparkle. I loooooovveee velvet, so that’s always a plus for me. Now the cover suit is wonderful and I just got a green tweet online for that suit. The green checked coat with the purple velvet lapel is GORGEOUS. I also got a checked wool - not the same, of course, but a very pretty one- and the velvet for this coat. I may never wear it in my very hot country, but I am making this wonderful coat and I don’t give a s+*** about practicality 🤣😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣 because it is a too pretty garment. There are so many eye candy fabrics in this issue as to make me want to have them all. I love the pleated purple sequined skirt and I want it, but not only would I never find that fabric as I would never get a place to pleat it, as you pointed out.
I love your choices and I think a lot like you!! Making things just because they are pretty :) and yes, the fabrics are just gorgeous! I have lots of sparkly fabrics in my stash, just because they are pretty :) not that I have occasions to wear them :) In the next Burda, there is a sparkly bomber jacket on the cover...I guess we should start to make those fancy fabrics just for everyday wear :)
The larger sized patterns are the nicest, although there are a lot of lovely party dresses (which i have nowhere to go in, but they are fun to admire). You are so right about the photography. If its an art shoot, fine, but if you're selling patterns, we really need to see them properly. When you show the green suit buttoned incorrectly, they used that photo on the front cover!! When I see such an obvious error, it gives me no confidence in the accuracy of the actual patterns. Thanks again for another great video.
Yes, that green suit , buttoned incorrectly, is just painful to see, that no one noticed that in the process of putting this magazine together!!! Painful!
The fringed blazer is closed the wrong way. I can not see if the button holes are on the wrong side or if the stylist closed it to the wrong side. The button holes for women should be on the right side. The fringes are there, as you can see at the bottom of the blazer. The closing is wrong.
Yes, you are so right! I noticed too that it was closed the wrong way, but apparently they made the button holes on the wrong side, as you pointed out 😳

Thank you for another super interesting review.
I really enjoy your honesty as we look at each one - very refreshing.
Thanks for watching! I am glad to know you enjoy the videos!
