Last year my discharge pump empty to the ground level. I wanted to add an extension but didn’t know what to purchase so that the water runs far away from my home. As a result the water frozed to the house ruining my stocco. If you could please send me an example of what I could use that would be greatly appreciated

Ive had a sump pump installed and plan on running 1 1/2 inch disharge line outside sloped along fence line into buried 4" corrigated under a gravel patio with a pop up drain..the natural slope will the drain the water off my property..I plan on wrapping above ground pipe with a heater cable and underneath 4" buried pipe to prevent any freezing.. comments or suggestions.. thank you Paul

"a heater cable" - Did it affect your electricity bill?

I’d just air-gap it at the house and turn the rest of the drain sloped as you describe. No heating to prevent freezing.

@@KennyFlagg FYI, I googled for the heating cable, and bought one from Home Depot, it costed me CAD 60 and have put it through the 4" pipe. It looks good so far
