The only thing I I think it’s missing is sharing some raw photos so that users can play with them without nice LR updates and see how Dynamic Range behaves.

Wow. I don't know what else to say. Just, WOW! Very impressive work. The light, the compositions, the action, the timing, the positioning. Even the editing and music were extremely well done. As others have said, this is work worthy of National Geographic or similar. And absolutely should be used by Sony for marketing! (I will never do work at that level. Even so, my A1 II is on order. Trading in my a9III and my a7r5. I do mostly landscapes and some youth soccer and wildlife. But no where near what you are doing here.) I sold my 100-400 for the 70-200 II w/ extenders when it came out. But if they bring out a new 100-400 with similar improvements in weight, size and features then I may go back to the 100-400. But for right now, I'll be focusing on getting and setting up the A1 II.

This is by far the best show of A1 II. Would be curious about the behind the scenes (like which video format used/SLOG3, etc( including the editing. Also surprising how well the 100-400 handled this overwhelming camera. Have you had a chance to use the photo capture from the video recorded? Congrats!!
Thank you, that means a lot to me✌️ for video I shoot at SLOG3 90% of the time (sometimes I would use HLG3 as that requires lesser grading if I want a quick turnaround) The new body and this lens is literally the perfect combo, until a MK II of the 100-400 comes around hahahaa 🎉 I’ll be sharing more in the next video!

Hey, why don't you come and film some tigers in India? Tadoba or Bandhavgarh offer excellent tiger sighting with really beautiful scenery especially in winter
@@lifewithdanng it's always criticized for its color science but in all technicalities, it is the best camera brand for everyone. learning to color grade gets you out of your comfort zone and it's an awesome skill to learn
Hey thank you! For wildlife definitely the 200-600 or the 100-400. For the smaller subjects I’d use the 90mm macro :) For everyday shooting, the 24-70 F2.8 literally stays on my A1 ever since I got it early this year. Before that I was always shooting with either the 20mm f1.8 or a 35mm 1.4
I noticed you're using AWB. What about ISO? Have you set it manually? I have two A1 II camera bodies, and at the beginning of February, I’m heading to Kenya to test them in real-world situations. Could you please share more details about your camera settings?
@@vlastimilvajnorak6024 Yes I do use AWB at times. It really depends on the situation - I would use shade during sunrise and sunset. And if I would be panning in an environment with varying colours in the environment I would not use AWB. As for ISO for video I’ll set it at its native ISO - I’ll always use the best ISO possible to get the highest quality unless the situation calls for it. For photography, don’t worry too much about ISO, use the best lowest and best ISO range if possible but most importantly it’s about capturing the moment. If you have to go higher to capture the moment, go for it! At the end of the days it’s always about the moment and not the technicalities of the shot. You’re going to have the best time in Kenya💯💯

@@leoven99 Thank you!! Not possible yet but hopefully they come up with a software that allows that. Right now I’m switching the photo/video dial on the fly to capture both video and photo at the same time. But when doing that, there’s a chance you might miss moments. The best way I tackle this is to preset your custom menus to have the right settings in both video and photo so there won’t be any fumbling when it comes to switching.

Hahaha yes, I was posing with the 300mm lens for the Broll ✌️after that, I had the 300mm attached to my A1 to take photos as a Bcam while I shot the main photos and videos with the A1 mkii with the 100-400mm(as it’s way more versatile in the field to switch between shots and focal lengths)

Hello, thank you for your video. I know that in the first version of the Sony A1, the continuous shooting speed with third-party lenses was limited to 15 FPS when using the electronic shutter. Does this limitation still exist in the Sony A1 Mark II? Can we achieve 30 FPS with new-generation Sigma lenses like the Sigma 60-600mm DG DN OS Sports, or are we still restricted to 15 FPS? Thanks
Very interesting - also shows top-end cameras video AF still struggle a little bit with keeping the subject in focus with live tracking - wonder if this is due to lens lag more than the camera algo?
I feel that the AF on the A1 II has a HUGE upgrade compared to the the A1 (I was using the A1 as a B cam and the A1's AF loses focus whenever my subject moves towards me, while the A1 II locks on fully and literally sticks on to the subject no matter where it moves in the frame) During the 10 days when I was testing it out in the field - whenever I missed a shot or if the AF took a split second longer to focus, it was due to a user error as I was shooting fully handheld or it was due to the vehicle engine vibration as it wasn't at a full halt.
2:11 -> That ain't a 100-400mm here 😂 Did you also shoot with the 300mm? Or maybe those shots were taken separately, but if that's the case I guess there's a small story-telling mistake, hehe, should have put the 100-400 on 😇 Other than that, perfect video ! 👍
