Canon 70d
I use the CANNON M50! Still learning how to use it properly for my video style(s).
panasonic hd 18o or so min like that
Canon 200d obviously as recommended by you! Today was a milestone as I finally uploaded my very first video after watching your videos for years ... so yes I ignored your tip of “just upload now” 😂 I’m now currently going through some of your older videos recapping and getting ready for my second video !
Sony a6400. Watched your video on the Canon m50 and Sony a6400 and it made me grab the a6400! I wanted to do 4k for some niche product reviews. Now I just need to get some better lenses.
ISO is the sensitivity of your camera sensor to light. You can think of ISO as fake light. The higher the ISO, the brighter your image will be. However, since it's "fake" light, with it comes increased noise as well. So, you almost always want to have your ISO as low as possible.
You make such insightful videos on your channel. Subscribed!
@@emmawatson6582 Thank you so much! :)
Didn’t Tony and Chelsea kind of do a debunk on ISO on digital cameras?
@@eukaryote-prime yes 100x over. It’s not about keeping your ISO high or low, it’s about how much light you have in the scene.
Best explanation for what ISO is. Thank you.
Very nice info thanks
I told myself I’d wait until I was on RUclips a whole year before I bought a camera...but I may get one before then. Such a learning curve.
Seriously! No joke!
Lol, I did something similar and told myself after I reached 10,000 subscribers I'd get a camera. Then I realized that's a lot harder to reach than I thought..lol. I bought the Canon M50 and it's Awesome! 🤗
Mousy Leigh Absolutely! I had my camera (Sony a6000) for 3 years and I’m still learning now to properly use it.
These camera basic videos are honestly amazing and extremely helpful... For the first time I was able to fully understand camera settings like the ISO, shutter speed and aperture...
Am using canon m50...watching from Jamaica
I’m happy about this. I don’t use a camera now for my videos, because I don’t have money yet, but I need to know about all these before that time🤗
YouTubing isn’t easy work at all, but steadily, slowly, I know I will get there, when I can purchase some of the few things I need
@@TDGlamour That is for sure. I am also working hard on my RUclips and I think you just need to keep going and making content. YT rewards action.
Super smart move. So many RUclipsr Tip channels say to start creating content no matter how bad. I always thought it would be smarter to put some work in up front so you can make much better content when you do start. Best of luck!
Brett Slansky You’re correct👍
Mastering RUclips That’s makes so much sense🤔
Hey Nolan. Sal here. Great tips on ISO. You don't know what you don't know. Simple solution. Kudos.
This was helpful. I was shooting on auto 😩. My camera is a Sony a6000. The content on my channel will be better now because of Think Media. Thanks!

Omg now I know why my first few videos were so grainy!!!
I'm using this video today! Thank you so much
Thanks for this content👍👍
Thanks for. Sharing your. Idea,
Great
This video was so helpful! I just started my RUclips channel and these tips have helped me make better quality videos!
WelcomeToTheWilloughbys Yes, their videos never disappoint!
I am trying out the Akaso V50x and my phone. This video was very helpful. Thanks
I’ve been using my Canon 70D for my videos for about 3 yrs and i’m still learning how to use it properly.
Great explanations on ISO... I have just bought a SONY camera for my videos and usually had it on auto, but will start playing with it now.😋
ND filter, bro. Thanks for the tip.
Panasonic Lumix G-85!
Thanks for the tips 🤩
Keep making great content! It's super helpful.
Thanks man, just getting into doing RUclips Videos and this helps out a lot! Appreciate it bro!
Great content as usual! I just started in March, no one said it would be so hard to gain subscribers but still hoping to get somewhere!
You hear stories all the time where successful RUclipsrs took well into a year before they started getting any traction. Keep getting better and watch those analytics! Good luck!
I know the initial grind is pretty hard but I'm sure it just takes time😀
Good luck!
Thanks for the tips. This would help me a lot to increase the quality of my videos
Sarveshaa Swar Same here! Obtaining clear footage has been a challenge for me.
running old school with my Canon T6i but it's mine and I love it.
Thank you so much for this upload Think Media! I absolutely love your channel! You have inspired me to go all in on my RUclips channel and media business this year! Keep rocking the YT airwaves and blessings to you from this new RUclipsr!😊
That is awesome to see that someone is doingthe work and becoming successful. RUclips is great opportuniuty for many people. Keep uo the good work Mandy!

Great lesson, love it.
I dont have a camera yet, but by the end of this year I'm gonna afford one....It will be amzaing
Great advice! Can't wait to upgrade my channel with the Canon eos rp!
Great video.👍
I’m so glad I’m taking the free 7 day challenge but I’m freaking out over posting my first video 😬
You have to just press record
😌😅🤞🏽you've got this! How was the course
Yes thank you for this, I've been trying to figure this stuff out.
Thanks for this! Really helpful video, been watching a lot of informative videos relating to camera specs and features, this channel is simply amazing! Just bought a Canon M50 after many research, to grow my youtube channel, since I started off using just an iphone.
good stuff. thank you
Thanks for this, really helps as I’m looking to upgrade my camera and when I do I will rewatch this for sure! 1 video in, and more to come 👍 good luck to anyone else just starting!
Great video, Nolan. Thank you :)
Nice video and very simple but effective communication thanks
hope we all can grow on youtube #letsgrowtogether
All these tips are massively helping me start my channel. My first 4 vids have been shot on my phone! What else are people using that are just starting up?
I sort of made a jump when I started and made an investment, but I started with a Canon 80D with their 18-55mm lens. I now use the 10-18mm lens for most shooting and love it. Not a bad price point for the quality you get as a beginner. The STM lens is amazing as well!
I always have problem with my video because i Did not understand this... hopefully my nikon D5300 is eastyto set up now
I'm using my smart phone atm. Once I get more subs I'll upgrade to camera otherwise unnecessary expense
I use my phone as well but bought an external mic that made the difference 😀
Same here
#phonefam2020 & no worries about it mate! I've been on youtube for 3 years now & since I only do talking head videos, a new camera is a waste anyway if that's all you do.
@@TheMacronical yip content definitely comes first but of course If you can afford the luxury then go for it but don't let it stop you
@@rossdonald3189 what mic would u recommend
Amazing video. But I’d love to have advice how will I use my Canon SX740 HS ?
Amazing video, useful information, have watched so many videos on this topic, but none gave the information that you did. I don't understand why this has so much less views, people deserve to see such great content. Kudos 🔥
Thanku sooo much. This was very informative. ❤️😍
ISO is pixel size. In old school film under a microscope you can see the individual cells of the film. Lower ISO has more cells per frame, higher ISO has bigger cells or fewer cells per frame.
Bigger cells allow more photons to hit each cell, exciting that cell.
It’s the same with digital. Bigger pixels can gather more light on the sensor for each pixel, thus making the pixel brighter. The trade off is added graininess or loss of resolution.
Old school film also went generally as high as 1000 ISO, but with the higher resolutions we have today 1080p, 4K etc, you can go much higher ISO size without losing as much definition in resolution. It’s crazy how higher you can go now, but it’s generally unusable except for specific and artistic reasons.
Nolan another awesome video. Thanks.
Very informative content, thank you for sharing
Good stuff Nolan! I have the a6600 and and a7sii. I really enjoy learning how to film better quality vids. Any recommendations for filming real estate videos? Light changes room to room and auto iso, awb, and auto focus causes noise. Any help is much appreciated. Keep crushing it buddy! 🔥🔥🔥
I'm just starting off and have been watching videos to learn. I'm debating on getting the Canon M6 Mark ii or Sony 6400
Insightful as usual! #vikingscareerstrategists
good explanation!
Thanks for the video!! I use a Panasonic G85.
Thank you your lessons have really taught me a lot I just got a Panasonic Lumix G 7 learning how to use it and again your lessons have helped me. My biggest problem is is shaking and moving of the camera when recording if you could do a video about that I'd appreciate it or if you have one already please let me know which it where it is stay safe stay strong stay healthy god bless and enjoy life indeed uncertain times✌❤👨🍳🎅🚌'S
Hi I’m using a Lumix Panasonic ZS 70
Nikon 5100, my iPhone, and GoPro. Struggling with Auto focus on my Nikon 5100. Lowest Aperture available on my kit camera is 3.5. After watching the last couple videos wondering if I need to get a lens with a smaller aperture or overcome the focus issue with using a smaller aperture. I think I leave camera in Auto with 1000ISO - that may be contributing to my issues. I have a lot to lear about using my camera and setting it up for success.
What I wanna learn is how to stop my camera from changing color ie going dark when I hold a product up then back to normal when I put it down
thats really helpful. maybe using better camera will help me get youtube make me more noticable. youtube doesn't promote us small youtubers even a little bit
Canon t5i where can i change the aperture settings
Insightful
I'm using the cannon m50 for my RUclips channel 31&counting

I did your 7 day challenge for $27 I have to say I feel kinda cheated not only did I not get to talk to anyone I didn't get to be a part of any of your live video giveaways I even set alarms to watch on time I didn't receive anything that would actually help my channel specifically I don't know if you guys actually read these but I just thought I'd say something I don't know what I paid for because I have nothing to show for it
