Roller is removed because it can cause jams or smears for this ink. The color assignment comes from a rip software that lets the printer know what is what.

What do you use as a printer profile because the ET8550 is not a sub or DTF printer, will that work for 6 color sub printing?
Are you talking about the ICC profile or the rip software?
@@HangryMuscle I would like to know too. Thanks Hangry!!!
@litlsuz I use Acrorip and Acrorip's default CMYK for my ICC profile.
@@HangryMuscle Thanks Hangry!!! I'll keep watching!!!!
What type of heat press are you using ?
Transpro 16x20
Hi, what about the white ink waste tank?
I haven't tried installing yet.
@@HangryMuscle and you haven’t had any issues with white ink yet?
Probably a dumb question, but do you have to install the inkchip firmware for this printer like on the Epson XP15000?
That's a great question I was wondering the same thing
What do you think is the best 3rd party sublimation ink for the et8550 because cosmos photo black and gray is sold out?
Not sure, I only use DTF inks.
I heard there is no such thing as phot black ink and it’s the same
@@tiffanylee3901 I've only used this for DTF printing and the Inks are different as well as some of the colors.
CMYKWW.
for the cosmos photo black i just used reg black and i did wait on grey and bought about 4 to ensure i had some
Can I use Acrorip 9.0.3 with this? X
You can use the Ekprint demo. www.eukondigital.com/ekprint/demo_download.asp
@@HangryMuscle what printer model did you say you had when getting the software demo? The epson 8550 isn't in the drop down menu to choose.
