I'm a sucker for wide open spaces like these, near the water. This has to be in my top 3 of your videos for me Dave mate. To say I loved it, would be the understatement of the new year. 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
I have always wanted to see England and these lakes. As a practical matter, it might not ever happen for me, given my schedule and family obligations. These videos are a true gift for someone like me. It is even more beautiful than I imagined. If I lived in England I would travel to this area every chance I got.
Looks absolutely STUNNING!!! I must explore get out & visit this place… I don’t know what i am missing… Never Ever been Cumbria or Lake District but, i sure to hell gonna explore walk around & see this stunning place myself for sure… Great video
Happy Memories of gazing down on this from the Top of Scar Fell after a 4 hour hiked accent from Borrowdale 10 Years ago this Summer, sadly due to my age, this is the best I can do now that I am retired. Thank You Dave for remind me of the Beauty of the Lake District, how I miss my ramble arround Ennerdale, Black Sail and Borrowdale. Tony in Essex
What a beautiful memory. The Lake District is truly one of the most picturesque places in England. It's wonderful that you have the chance to explore it, even if from afar. I'm sure the views you experienced during your hike were breathtaking!
@@scenicrouteyt My first venture into the Lake District was on my First Crossing on the Coast to Coast, West to East when I was 50yrs old and followed the following year by an East to West crossing and loved every step of the ten days it took me to do the complete journey. For me the Peace and Tranquility of Ennerdale and Borrowdale are fantastic and relaxing and if my legs were better I would visit again tomorrow, but I know before I even leave Essex I would struggle to the extreme with the terrain, so now I spend my days watching others do it for me. @@user-TonyUK yeah Lake District is one of my favourite places. I’m only about 1.5hrs away in the Peak District so really lucky to have two sets of beautiful landscape so close.
@@scenicrouteyt I was Born in Grimsby in 1957 but moved to Essex after I left the Army, the Winters are much milder than they were in Grimsby and most of my Army life was spent in Gibraltar so I got used to the very mild Winters, so mild we could still sunbathe at Christmas...
@@scenicrouteyt Oh how I remember the Peak District and the Pennine Way from the late 1976, that long hot summer when even boiling the kettle for a coffee after a days hike across the moors was dangerous in the extreme in case the moors caught fire!!!
Tranquilty. Soft clouded light. And around every corner is another picturesque view, be it expansive, or close, treed and intimate. Let's gently meander with Dave through the green, and forget the tribulations of the rest of the world, for a while at least. Half expecting to see a hobbit peering out of the bushes.
just too beautiful. the subject, the composition, the colour, the pacing, the panning: just perfect every time. you’re a natural born cinematographer, dave. thanks for another stunning outing. :)
What an excellent video this is, we felt as if we had walked with Dave. Wonderful clarity, scenery breathtaking. You must have some sturdy boots, what type of camera do you use please. Thank you for posting this.
I saw a few people that day walking across, Certainly braver than me, It was far too treacherous for me I'd of most certainly ended up taking a dip in the probably not warm lake..
