Watching the 'Sun' setting in the sky at the end of the vid traveling by boat has convinced me to escape from the stressful urban concrete jungle & check out the beautiful rural Lake District to relax, restore & recuperate this Summer 2024. The 'fate' of the world is in our hands, so lets take affirmative action right now to 'STOP' these private water companies 'illegally' dumping 'UNTREATED SEWAGE' back into our streams, canals, rivers, lakes & last but not least, the sea.......
Dear Neil, my family and I have never been to the lake district and your walk though was fantastic, my mum has had a double stroke and just loves watching all the beautiful videos but the end of the Lake District video made her cry it was so beautiful THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all your hard work ❤️

In Keswick lake district Cumbria, you can walk on the old railway line, now a path at the back of the station hotel to threlkeld, also to " castle Rigg stone circle Keswick lake district " which hundreds gather on mid summer's night it's open all year round

In Windermere lake district, you can get the ferry over to hawkshead and grizsedale Forrest.
In Windermere, they have the RAF show in the summer for a week.
Grassmere, is famous for the gingerbread shop.
Beatrice potter lived in the lake district Cumbria. It's a visitor centre

great video went on a boat there a couple of years ago when covid restrictions were on and it rained all the way round
