We live in Manchester uk so York is just over an hour away, we’ve been many times, each time we go we discover something new, we stay in a city centre hotel so we walk out of the door and everything is there ( I’m not too good on my feet these days) , if you’re a new visitor then it’s best to read up on the basic history, there’s too much amazing stuff there to describe but it’s absolutely the best city to visit on so many levels

York is wonderful. Been there twice, but will return one day. It looks busy, but as you mentioned, it’s not. It’s usually crowded. I always try to film early in the day, less people, easier to film. But at the same time I get noticed easier while filming, when it’s less crowded 😂

You missed the Museum Gardens & St Mary's Abbey, the City Walls & Bars, the Roman Bath, Coney Street, The National Railway Museum, & wasted a lot of time covering the same ground several times, & there was pointless camera shots in poor streets, for instance in Parliament Square, while you missed out the Mansion House in St Helen's. You could have pointed out Christchurch, it's openwork Lantern Tower used to be lit to guide travellers into the City in Medieval days, & shown that the Castle Museum buildings are old prisons that stand inside the old Castle walls, the remnants of which lie behind them by the Foss.
I'm sorry to sound like I'm complaining, but it is just to suggest how your work could be even better, while appreciating it is already very good.

It amazes me how Harry Potter gets such a huge mention on U tube... Yet Saint Margaret Clitheroe lived here on the shambles. She was executed here in York.. Her crime... She shielded catholic priests. At the time of her execution it is believed that she was pregnant the executioner refused to carry out the task of putting her to death on Ouse Bridge on Lady Day 1586 instead the powers that be paid vagabonds to carry out the grisly task.she was put to death by weights been put on her body. Yes they even used her own door on which she was to lay. She was pregnant with her 4th child... They killed them both. Her withered arm a Catholic relic stands to this day at the Bar Convent on Blossom Street in York. May God Bless her & keep her.... R. I. P St Margaret et Clitheroe...

If you get a 24 pack of Newcastle Brown Ale,and some chips. You then 'Hi-jack' the boat, and thrash it up and down the River Ouse, and capsize it,then swim to shore, and run off laughing, with a can of Newcastle Brown, and some soggy chips!!!😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 MAGNIFICENT, Old Son!
