York is definitely a very big city filled with many places to visit and has
a lot of nice restaurants, pubs, stores, churches, museums and much more
they have a lot nice looking buildings and streets such as the Shambles
it's like a street out of a Harry Potter movie and this is quite a bigger city than the others that I've seen so far, until the next destination Thank You.

Lovely! I visited York in early July. It was beautiful, but rather crowded! Unfortunately, I missed the waterfront area. Thanks as always for an awesome video.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of York as it brought back many memories of our visit there in May 2019. Our question is, what time of the year did you shoot this video as almost everyone is in heavy jackets, with toques on or earmuffs, and some are wearing gloves.

Pity you didn't cover the museums, railway castle and Yorvik, all worth seeing. The Vikings were here before the Romans, so I have been told.

The Vikings were not here before the Romans. York was founded by the Romans in 71AD. It was a Roman base till around 400AD and was then taken over by the Angles and Saxons, who renamed it Eoforwic, when the Roman Empire was in decline and they left. The Vikings took it from the Angles in 866 AD, led by Ivar the boneless who renamed it Yorvik…York. The Vikings came some 450 years after the Romans.
