Started using these in April of 2020. We have 36 locations, and sent these to half of them. During playtesting I was sure to personally handle each technician's tablet and swiper, ensured all pieces were accurate and up to date, synced properly, etc. We now have ZERO technicians that actually use them. Super unreliable, hardly every connects, customers are standing there 10+ minutes only for it not to even work. (EMV-BBPOS devices)
Do you recommend any mount or strap that can stick to the tablet so that is stuck to the tablet and the techs don’t have to remember to carry around they’re card reader
We got a bunch of these for our technicians and can't get them to connect to the ServiceTitan app. They do show up in bluetooth settings on our iPads and we made sure that we updated to the latest iOS and ST app. Do y'all have any ideas about how to get these working?
When I click on “Use Swiper” I get “Connecting” instead of “Initializing” and it stays in that status for some time. Before that a pop message says to make sure my BT is turned off and make sure my volume is maxed out before proceeding with the initialization. I’m doing this from my IPhone. It won’t take me to that EMV pop-up message you got to connect the card reader. Am I doing something wrong?
Hey Alfredo! I'd start by sure you're running the most current version of the app. It sounds like the app is expecting a plug-in style swiper instead of the bluetooth one featured in the video. Feel free to reach out to support if you're still having issues!
