Gary ur scarf looks beautiful? Great job! 😍
I’ve been buying a bunch of different mohair yarns to mix with other yarns to make some cardigans with sometime . One I bought is from berroco and it resembles that temu chunky dots one you have. Has the same type of color splashes throughout the cream color base coat. I can’t wait to use it sometime.
I have like said bought and currently buying lots of different ones to use in a few crochet cardigans but one I’m going to make it more of a scrappy mohair yarn look 😜
Pixel is looking beautiful. Who was Pixels buddy there with her? 🤭
Have a great week. And hopefully by now you are feeling better.

Love SOME fuzzy yarns, can't do a full-on mohair.... I won't say allergic, but it's a definite sensitivity...but suri, a whole different story!!
    🤣😂🤣
I love how you made panels of color with your mohair scarf.
I didn't finish my geogradient, I set it aside, I honestly like it, but it wasn't keeping my interest...
So I made a Sockhead Cowl with "psycho" from my trilogy yarn Halloween Advent... similar color to the yellow, white, black mohair...but fluorescent!!! Its amazing under a blacklight!!! (I'll have pics on ravelry).

Really liked your 'sampler scarf' ~ ah, Temu ... I recently bought some 'everyday yarn' & I do believe their yarn descriptions are SUGGESTIONS rather than factual conveyances From my yarn label: [I DID have labels] my "Bright Silk Wool" was made of *100% Polyester(!)* + "8.5% The Tide Will Return(???)"! Go figure ---- at least mine felt nice :)) So this may explain why YOUR yarns weren't as soft as you expected. 🤷‍♂

Oh no - I hear what you are saying about the descriptions on TEMU's website. They are hard to gather the facts about an item. They do an amazing return in a certain timeframe - which I used for shirts I thought were cotton and they turned out to be micro fibre. There weren't any questions and I got a credit for the cost added to my account.

Gary, thank u for sharing your work, its just stunning. Your choice of color combinations are just so beautiful. I'm new to crocheting but i liked how you added "stripes" to your scarf. I actually have comp a scarf using the rice stitch which i love but wasn't sure how you added the stripes. At the beginning you mentioned sewing it in and then towards the end you mentioned using yarn so was it a special crochet stitch you used or a reg sewing stitch? again, thanks for all your hard work on these videos!

So the Alpaca Silk has silk in with the wool...looks like a very soft combo!

I think that's right Val - it's super soft (well the Drops Alpaca Silk got a 5 out of 5 from me).

If you have one of those large decorative clothespins. You could slide it through the two grommet holes and hang stitch markers from it.

Hello Diane - I've seen Hobbii Diablo many times in my visits to the website, but it never made it into my cart. You'll have to tell me how it works up and if you feel the price tag on it is comparable to others on the market.

Have you reviewed Temu's Squirrel yarns? I think there are a couple different blends. The polyester, which is usually a soft yarn, was reviewed as rough but I wonder....

No I haven't tried the Squirrel yarn from Temu yet. Perhaps when I make another yarn order with them I may throw in a skein. Thanks for the tip.
