    Did you notice the yellow SCTEx patrol pick up parked on the off ramp at Hacienda Luisita Interchange SCTEx NB? That was the speed trap, the pick up has the LIDAR device aimed at the road, NB. In your other post going to Subic, the LIDAR vehicle was a white Crosswind parked on the shoulder just before Tipo toll plaza. I didn't spot any TPLEx patrol vehicle that could possibly be the speed trap. I was searching the shoulder from Agno river viaduct all the way to Urdaneta and Binalonan. But TPLEx also has NB speed trap. I know of 2 brothers with a Civic Turbo each nailed for speeding in Urdaneta at 9am. I also noticed some comments on this post desiring speed limit to be raised to 120 or 130. Sayang. 2 Congressmen sponsored a bill some years back to raise the speed limit to 130. They didn't get re-elected and their bill languished in limbo.

      Yes sir, i saw that vehicle, i was looking for the snipers at the median too like in my previous drive. I have observed during this drive that there are military trucks positioned on various parts of the expressway. It kind of gives me the chills of seeing military vehicles along the highway like there is an impending war coming. Yup very cautious with those pickup trucks and crosswinds and innova. Thanks to the cruise control function i am driving at a boring un ease state hehehe. There was a petition on change.org regarding that sctex increase speed limit. I wonder what happened.... the speed is really really outdated. Most of the accidents happen because of poor car maintenance and drivers not yielding to fast cars.

      Regarding the sighting of Army trucks on SCTEx TPLEx, don't let them alarm you. It depends now on what kind of deployment you see. For one, recently, our top officials have been going to Baguio for PMA homecomings, Panabenga and PMA graduation. If the President , VP or Senate President are journeying by road, you will see solo PNP vehicles on strategic spots. Sometimes, MP's or Military Policy of the Phil. Army are also spotted on strategic spots along the highway if a Military convoy - troops, cargo, ammo, surplus military vehicles on trailers, etc. - is passing through. The MPs' are identifiable as the US military donation Jeep Wagoneer pick ups in green camouflage finish, sometime paired with PNP white and blue Innova's or Mahindra's. Now if you see 10-wheeler 6x6 army trucks, solo or in two's parked, both camouflage, they are part of the Quick Reaction Force. You see, SCTEx and TPLEx are "owned" by BCDA - Bases Conversion Development Admin. - they own BGC, Poro Point, John Hay, etc. Their main "share holders" are the AFP. When SCTEx was new, there were reports of stoning from some squatters hidden somewhere in Dinalupihan. My friend, the late General Gervacio had the AFP field the quick reaction force to go in and cover a wide area to make sure the culprits are caught. And the Army also provided cover when some farmers in Tarlac tried to blockade the opening of SCTEx. Now TPLEx is also experiencing stoning incidents at night - so the Army is deployed. When you see military trucks, don't be afraid. They are there for your protection.

      The rule of thumb regarding speed traps is that they usually locate them and hide them on the last few kms of the expressway before the busy toll plazas. For example SB on SLEx, the speed traps are anywhere from Mamplasan down to AB Brewery exits. The arresting officers are on all the exit toll gates. For STAR, NB, the speed traps are just before and after Tanauan exit. You've seen the Tipo bound and the NB SCTEx Tarlac plaza bound speed traps. TPLEx, I have not seen in your documentation but they should be approaching Urdaneta and Binalonan, just past Carmen. NLEx SB - you can get nailed from Pulilan up to Petron Bocaue.

      "Stone throwing along SCTEX" i hope that stone throwing incident will have stiffer penalties once apprehended. That might be some mischief escapade to some though but they do not know the magnitude of that act. Thank you sir for the information.

    safe speed limit is 120 kph

    • @dmitrivalencia
      @dmitrivalencia  7 лет назад +2

      120 kph is fine with me, di maiwasan tumataas ng 100kph ang speedo kasi at kapag overtaking lumalagpas talaga... unless puro mababa na displacement ang mga engine sa atin

    • @gabrielmahutasoit8953
      @gabrielmahutasoit8953 4 года назад

      boy turo actually your toll road is designed to drive at 120kph max, but 100kph is taken to minimize accidents related to overspeeding, especially on some turns

    • @dmitrivalencia

      carmen exit is now open, i think Tomana was just a temporary exit when opened. Now all vehicles can pass through Carmen Exit but for me i personally like the area of Tomana Exit but there are other factors to be taken into consideration like cost to open etc....
