Charles, Thank you for a simple replacement option. I was looking at moving the fan from the bedroom to the bathroom but the amount of roof work needed to do that was not worth the effort. The fan in the bedroom works fine and I thought about going to one of the 10 speed fans but the cost was not worth the effort. Thank you again for something that will make things better in the bathroom.

That is exactly my old fan which jammed and smoked up the RV. This will be a great replacement.

Great illustration and instructions! I just ordered it. Thank you. Once installed I'll send you a photo. 👍🏽👍🏽
I just realized I can't send you a photo. But it looks great and I am really happy I ran into your video.

you have me BLOWN away at the cleverness of using hair bleach developer to whiten that!!!! Seriously, I cant get over it!!! so so so smart. I don't have 40 I have 30 laying around but I'm gunna try it and see if it works! Might just have to leave it out for longer. but TIP for anyone else: Sallys Beauty carries Salon Care brand, also any brand of developer would work in theory just needs to be a high enough level.

Hey! Great job. I found that you only need to remove the old motor but NOT the bracket. The bracket does not interfere with the new fan in any way. Best regards

Great video. We just completed this upgrade and the fan is unbelievable compared to the stock fan.
    2 things
We didn’t need to remove bracket.
Also the knob to raise/lower the vent might need to be adjusted. Not difficult just be aware.
    Otherwise great idea/video!

So you don’t change the roof opening, just the inside insert can be changed out? - If so, I so want one!

Oh and the salon care, can you use it to whiten an RV shower? If so, how? I’m guessing you could just tape it up with plastic for so many hours. Oh and fyi you can get that Salon Care at any Sally’s Beauty- if you have one near ya-

How would you suggest if I don't have a wall switch. Would it be fairly simple to add one to the wall. Your Chanel is very helpful thankyou. I'm a new subscriber

    • @charlescoushaine

Adding a wall switch can be challenging in an RV, however, I might recommend that you add a simple switch right to the fan housing or wire it to get powered when the ceiling light is turned on.

First time I saw the stock fan, it had to go! Had a Fantastic fan (Dometic) installed before my TT was delivered. Serves as a whole house fan when the ac isn't needed. The new fan is quiet, my TT is 25' and its being at one end and I in another, cannot hear it on low. Haven't tried its other speeds...
