Excellent! This is going to be my go to place for Boss preparation now. I have to admit that I never have taken down any boss despite having spent a lot of time in Ark. Which boss would you recommend for a start, Broodmother? Nice camera shot at 01:13 by the way! 👍
Thanks - depends on what dinos you have ready. I'm assuming rexes? Megapithicus is the one I'd recommend. It awards more element than broodmother, so you'd assume it's harder work, but I find it the easier of the three bosses. He's a bit of a glass cannon; he hits hard but doesn't have a lot of health.
@@ZedsArk To be honest there are no Dinos ready since I started a complete new playthrough recently for storytelling purpose (so I am free about that) but I was always assuming that I kind of have to go Broodmother, Megapithicus and then Dragon (storydriven). Finding your videos made me think about maybe throwing this order overboard. Quick question, as far as I understand the engram reward system it is that for the specific engrams you need to kill a specific boss to unlock them, right? Or is it more like that when you kill a higher "tier" boss that you have unlocked the engrams for the lower tier bosses automatically? Hehe, could you maybe make a video about the reward system? Or if you already did let me know which one it is? In example I would love to have the Tapejara Tek saddle and the Wiki says to fight the gamma Dragon for that, but would that also unlock engrams the are for lower tier bosses or are they tied to their respective bosses?
I haven't got anything covering that, but could add it to the schedule. Certainly killing and alpha boss unlocks the tekgrams you'd unlock for killing the gamma and beta versions, but not for other bosses. I love that you're doing a story-driven playthrough. I'd suggest that the order you fight the bosses is your choosing - as it's your story! I think that fits in with the lore, too.
@@ZedsArk Allright then, that does answer my question indeed, very good to know and thank you for heading me into the right dircetion there. Hope you don't mind that I will mention your content for boss preparation in my videos when it comes to the point. By this time I went through all your content now and I am happy to have found this channel - hope your brother wasn't too mad that you "borrowed" his Dinos in this video ruclips.net/video/DIIioDclouI/видео.html🤣🤣🤣 - made me chuckle🤣
Sure. Yeah, I love it, too. Having Tek Transmitters able to start boss fights is so much easier than using obelisks. Aside from the huge amount of stone and wood that this needed, I hadn't realised how much drop there would be at the far edge!

You're more than welcome to.
So far, he hasn't said anything... 😅
Yea!
Would love to see a video on how you built your boss area love how you did that
