BMW E30 Convertible Top Install (Late Model)

- Follow along as we install a new top on a late model BMW E30 ..
If you do not have access to a spray gun and commercial adhesive you can use brush on Landau top glue (See link below).

Thanks for posting this. I’m not sure how you attached at the back (glue). You showed draping the folds one over each each side of the frame but I think only the gluing to the top top of the frame was shown. Anyone else watch the BMW video and notice that both flaps were glued to the top of the rear frame. The called the second flap a « lip guide ». Anyone? Thé also put two beads of seal and under the front seal Rail before installing the rail and 9 screws. Looking to chat with any experienced folks.
I think Ecs tuning has a very good detailed guide on this.

How do you get the soft top up after you take the hardtop off
You just pull it up regularly as you do without a hardttop
