"Looks horrendous from the bottom, but it's fine", he says, as he is free climbing back up! Lol. Awesome to see both you and Nic nail that drop. You both continue to be inspiring to get out to BC and experience the very much non-Ontario mtb difference!
Dale, you can’t call it “this drop gave me nightmares” and then absolutely stomp it first try! In all seriousness, you and the whole crew are shredders to the max.
Nice! I'll always be jealous of how you and Dave can yeet yourselves off of things from a standtill. Range confidence is definitely a thing, it's gotten me into then out of a lot of trouble.
It was great Dale. Thank you for taking the time to do this - I truly enjoy your long format videos. Speaking for myself, and many of your followers I’m sure, I sometimes perceive you to be this almost mythical talent that can conquer all. But of course, that isn’t true. We all face intimidation at our own level, it’s just a relative scale between you, me, and the vast chasm in between. I’ll say you have me properly motivated for my ride later today… let’s see if some progression at my own level happens! P.S. by the looks of the mini-Remy, I think you may have a full Remy lurking somewhere inside you (sorry Mom!).
Great vid! I'm sure I saw Remy Metailler hit that last bonus feature recently but he did your line and then hit the drop to the right into the run off. Thanks for your content!
I’m looking forward to this one mini-Remy! You are a great narrator and I’m sure you did a top notch job explaining the thought process of taking on a new-to-you feature. Hopefully I can take something away to attempt my own mini-Dale at some point (the Mandangler has my attention lately)! Enjoy your ride with John from IMBY! ;-)
Great Video. I think having the POV and the "view from the trail side" camera angles for the same feature are really cool. A lot more work, but gives a much better view of the magnitude of each feature.
Well done Dale! My palms were sweaty watching the preamble to your first drop as I have ridden down Penthouse several times and I know how big that drop actually is. It was very helpful to see all the different riders prepare themselves and see their results as I now know that I will NEVER attempt it (not that I was even considering it)! Keep up the excellent work as I am more than happy to continue to live my extreme MTB life vicariously thru you and your crew!
You're a lucky guy Dale, that only this drop gave you nightmares. For me it's almost all of those trails 😱😆 Thanks for sharing on how you approach a feature like this. Great watch! 👍
Instant subscribe brother. You and your crew are absolutely amazing riders and such an inspiration, shout-out to everyone that makes these videos possible! Keep up the top tier shredding
Been watching you for about a year now and seeing you in nicks video really showed me just how far you've progressed this last year. Lookin fast and lovin the videos always man!
Just subscribed to the channel. I love these type of videos that break the trails down and show the challenge of completing a feature. Hoping to get there next year.
these type of viceso that take a long time to put together and edit really make me happy. i love waking up and seeing "new video from Dale Stone" lol. Great video!
Lines like the Guranga slab are precisely why I decided to underbike instead of up biking with my last purchase! Having a bike like the Range would have made me constantly ask “should I?” Glad to live vicariously through you on these ones, enjoying your new bike.
I was able to enjoy the Squamish network during the 8 years I lived there, but as much as my skills progressed the consequences of the features grows exponentially as the degree of difficulty moves up incrementally. Need to spend a bit more time solidifying the skills on the 120 mm bike and it makes it way easier to grind up for another lap. Nice thing about all those slab lines is they aren’t going anywhere…
Way to go Dale, I'm sure it won't be long before you tick off some of the Remi lines. I do have a request: It would be awesome if you could show some follow cam footage of your friend Laura. It would be nice to show my daughter that it's just not all boys out there riding these trails. Keep up the good work.
This is just wow... next level😮😎 Pretty enjoyable to watch on the other side of the world in the Netherlands over here. Really need to gonna save some money for a trip one time at least.
Wow!that’s really a scary drop dale!good job to you guys such an inspiration to me!I may not be as good as you guys but still the same happiness and fun out in the the trails!
That is insane, I am here going... Why not go faster?...lol and were I there I would've likely had to walk it. Great videos Dale, heading out there someday will get to play on these trails.
Grats on ticking the Penthouse Drop off your list! I loved the video. How are you finding the 29er? I put off the switch from 27.5 to 29" for years because of all of the negative feedback but with modern geo, short offset forks, etc. I find my Ripmo to turn just about as quick as my HD3 did. Thanks again Dale.
The wheelsize itself hasn't been much of a tough switch. Definitely hit my undercarriage on the tire about a hundred times more often, as expected, but it's faster otherwise!
How much have you found yourself taking your Range out vs the Sight this month? I'll be curious how your perception of a 27.5 AM bike is changed after being on a HP 29er for a spell. Also curious how it's impacted your efficiency uphill :P
@@DaleStone , that stuff is way beyond me my friend! I look at you guys and see professionals with skills that I lack and don’t want to take the risks physically to develop. We have abandoned iron mines in MN that have some of this but not even close to approaching these steep rock rolls with very difficult drops and technical landings! I’ll keep watching from my couch while gradually advancing my skills, on easier trails. Keep up the shredding!

Nic is the best cheerleader, and also sends it first try! 🙌
I'm already mad at you and I haven't even seen it !
Dale, you can’t call it “this drop gave me nightmares” and then absolutely stomp it first try! In all seriousness, you and the whole crew are shredders to the max.
I've watched all the videos of you on your new bike. It's obvious you have absolutely no buyer's remorse and are loving the new ride.
It's a different kind of fun! Not sure it maximizes my riding enjoyment but it's definitely fun.
Yeah Dale! Thanks for posting, this was a really good one.
Nice! I'll always be jealous of how you and Dave can yeet yourselves off of things from a standtill.
Range confidence is definitely a thing, it's gotten me into then out of a lot of trouble.
I'm most worried about returning to my "normal" bikes, hahaha.

“it looks horrendous from the bottom but it’s fine…” as he crawls up with his hands. Fantastic job.
Incredible riding! Nice editing of course and obviously a great cast
Good on you Dale. Fun as always...I actually enjoy these kinds of videos where we get to see everyone's process for riding scary features.

This was an encouraging video man. I love the vibe and commentary you put into you video's, it makes it so much more interesting.
Dave is so good at bikes.
Your new granite grabbing bike is awesome, Dale!
Soooooo glad to see you and Dangerous Dave on the same video!
The subtitles are a great touch to the videos!

I 100% agree with this. I think Laura should have her own channel. She is ridiculously good.

Thank you for reminding me that I need to bring my flat pedals and shoes next time I go to ride slabs in Squamish!
Absolutely Spectacular ! 👏👏👏👏👏👏fantastic viewing 👀, loved it. 👍 genuinely was on the edge of my seat for at least 50% of that 😬
Wow!that’s really a scary drop dale!good job to you guys such an inspiration to me!I may not be as good as you guys but still the same happiness and fun out in the the trails!
Fun is what matters!!
it looks horrendous yeah it looks like a mini El Cap!!! 🤣 I love the dogs reaction! he's like ya too easy guys I can do it with no bike 🐶
That was awesome, I have sweaty palms just watching some of those moves! And I totally agree that Range confidence is a thing
Pardon me, but what's range confidence?
New bike confidence. 📈
@@DaleStone Ohhhh you mean Norco Range. Gotchu
You guys are crazy. I love it!
One of your best videos so far, I think I’ve already watched it 3 times
This is sooo dope!! That drop looks wild!
Your signature line after riding serious features is "That was so easy" lol
98% a mental game. 😅
That is insane, I am here going... Why not go faster?...lol and were I there I would've likely had to walk it.
Great videos Dale, heading out there someday will get to play on these trails.
incredible features, well done Dale...this is really a paradise for technical trails 😎
So cool video and u guys have the most amazing trails there and the drop is big!
Very nice, I love your POV view, it looks so good.
I'm super excited to see this one. Maybe one day I'll have the skills and confidence to give it a go
Knarrrrly ! Extremely well executed
I was so happy to hear the bell again! ;-)
I just bought 2 more. 😉
Ha, I do the same "trying to relax for a new feature deep breath" like he does here 14:24 😅
Another great video. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video! Nice riding!
15:12 hahahah
👀
Hello Dale!!!! Can’t wait for the video buddy
It's gonna be a keeper!
These trails are so sick. I’d love to get to ride something like this one day. Much different riding out here in the North East.
Thats so impressive!!
Don't know how you stop before a drop like that nice work
Sooo sick, good riding cheers!!
[interpretive dance]
[fake sneeze?]
what a bonus clip that was
You're so good at getting captivating thumbnails hahaha cant wait.
I'm happy with where the content is but my marketing could always use work, thanks!
The BC’s 3 amigos are the best (Nic, Dale & Dave) 🤙🏽

Gouranga line was great!
Skillz! That is all. GEEZUS
Jeff Lenosky would love it!
Well done you guys, great video 👍
I don’t understand how you make your videos look so incredibly awesome 🤩😍🤘🔥
I get Adrenalin while watching this through the GoPro 😅👍

The Sight is getting a full rebuild as I write this, so I too am curious! As for uphill efficiency, it makes it to the top eventually. 🙂
Awesome Jump!!!
I'm still wondering how you got off the bike at 11:19
Very carefully!
are you going to wear some kneepads for this one ? XD Keep it up really enjoying your content !
👀
Okay Dale ur amazing but can we see videos of the cute dog running along with the bikes 😂😂
Spruce is my favourite doggo ever. 🐶
@@DaleStone he’s a sweetie for sure 😍
Sweet Jesus!!!! I would shit my pants 🤣
Whoa dude 👌👌👌awesome gives me nightmares as well
Well done guys🤘👌🌟
Interpretive dance (chuckles)
What bike is it your using? This trails look ace 🤟
Range
Wow!!
The best birthday present 😁😁
Happy birthday, present in 2-3 weeks. 😉
Next video are you gonna do the remy gouranga line?? 😁😁
Nice
How likely are you going to do trespasser this year?
51%. I'm not seeking it out, when it finds me it finds me!
@@DaleStone you should have no problem with it. More roots. Less rock.
Respect! Love your content 👍🏼👍🏼
Is there a ride around to the drop? Just curious how the doggie got down. 😍
Yep! It's the main line even, haha.
I’d like to see it ridden on a fat bike. I’m surprised at how fast the traction breaks!
You can be the first!

What bike are you riding Dave
which one is better on drops? 29er or 27.5?
They're both identical there, if anything 27.5" is less likely to graze your bottom.
what is your camera? the quality is so good.
10 black
@@DaleStone Thanks.
Is dave now on onyx too? Can't seem to hear the i9s on his version of this video and even on this vid too. If he is, yes!!! 🤘
He's still on his i9s.
this looks absolutely terrifying u got huge gonads doing this
Super Hero like," "HACKERS"
Hey Dale quick question how often should you bleeding ur brakes
Whenever you aren't happy with them.
Sounds good thanks😉
I find it frustrating that you can never get a decent perspective on film of just how steep or huge some of this stuff is
Most easily appreciated by those already in the know, sadly!
Is it called 'scubbing' when you're arse buzzes the back tyre? [>
Believe that's called wiping.
just wondering, does the fact that it looks easy from a go pro ever piss u off
Doesn't make me angry, but I wish it could be different!
must have been cold your wearing pants.hehehe
It was the strangest weather apparently between Braden and my outfits.
Ho man no easy
13ft? Maybe half that
Trailforks says 13, not me haha. Probably 8ish vertical by the time you land, so the hypotenuse would be...
