He’s not just playing with their lives he’s also playing with his own life. And that also says how much of a sleazy man he is really is so in a way, yes, he did deserve what he got. It wasn’t until his OWN life was in danger did he want to change he didn’t care about anyone he was hurting and when you think about it he still didn’t get the lesson thanks to Regina’s pick-me character coming to his rescue and making him think BRANDI was wrong and not HIM.
Martin’s eye was like that because he started getting high hanging with Bobby Brown on set..this is around the time Martin went crazy and was running down the highway screaming “they tryna kill me!!”

Man was playing with her money and emotions and pretty much a perfect example of "fuck around and find out" and lord did bro find out! Got his momma harassed, got his place of work destroyed, and almost got himself, his girl, and his best friend killed! Lesson: fellas be careful who you play with and use, cause you might come across a Brandi and you might not be as lucky as Martin!
