It's hard to want to get rid of the burdens or the feelings of doubt or sadness, because it's the devil you know. The fear that what comes next could be worse is crippling.

I've watched literally hundreds of people react to NF. 9.5 people out of 10 find NF when it's time for them to.
I've watched probably a dozen people tap out to get themselves some professional help after experiencing NF.
Most of his songs leave one feeling like there's more to the song and you need to hear more.
You give a great interpretation of the song. Loved your reaction! NF certainly hits you hard.. a punch in the gut! He does not sugar coat anything and I admire him for that. His words pull me down to earth, his words does not let me float away in denial of my issues.. It's so good and it's so helpful. I love his vulnerability and honesty, but most of all I admire his integrity. Even though he seems very sensitive to criticism, he doesn't change for anyone. He stays in his lane, follows his vision of "NF Real music".

Yeah, I agree, NF and Ren are very similar in that sense. So vulnerable and REAL. Real life, that you can relate to deeply.
You are in for a treat. You will really see how far he’s come from his first album to the search.. and he continues to get better with every mixtape/album he drops. The Clouds Mixtape is my favorite body of work of his.

Actually, prior to Mansion should be Intro. That is the lead in track and you will see on the next two albums is Intro II, then Outro, and then Intro III. So, I wouldn't miss reacting to Intro on Mansion - although, I don't think you have to do it before Mansion - you could do it either after Mansion or even after All I Have, but it should be one of the first three you check out at the beginning. :)

You’re going to have so many people requesting reactions to songs that are everywhere within the timeline of the NF journey. This journey isn’t just you watching an artist improve over time, it’s watching an artist evolve all the way around as a person and it’s important to go in order to pick up all the little nuggets that you’ll hear along the way. Another great reaction! You were right on the money with the cognitive dissonance view. As for the Schizophrenia part, you are not wrong. But rather than personalities, NF personifies the emotions in his mind such as fear, and then has conversations with them in his music. He does mention this in "Mansion", which is also the next song that you would listen to on the NF journey. You can go as deep as you want and you'll find that when you reach your conclusion, NF was there waiting for you to reach it. His songs and albums are one giant story, but the past songs and albums reference the songs and albums that haven't even been released yet. Love ya bro, keep up the great work!

On the NF journey is Mansion, How Could You Leave Us and Nate! But you have so many great NF songs coming your way! The balloons are his burdens. More NF please! In this song he said Fame called back in No Name, so have to No Name and in The Search he he wrote a song Change, you should listen to it, so you should react to that too! All his albums are interconnected from one to the next, it a story of his journey! Great reaction, Easter eggs are in many videos but you’ll see as you go!
There has been a lot of healing for me from listening to NF’s music. It’s a bittersweet feeling knowing that you’re not alone in dealing with certain issues. This journey is like no other from Any artist!!
BTW…I love NF so much I saw him live twice last year. I highly recommend his show if you ever get the chance🔥🔥🔥

You should check out NF - Story, it's not part of the NF "journey" as far as the continuity between his songs but I bet it'll still blow your mind.
Also NF - Lost ft Hopsin, I think has some of his coldest flows.
Story is definitely on the list, don't you worry. Lost is a good shout.
Definitely understand the struggle to level up with mental health and overall effectiveness...we cling to the familiar even if it's in our way...for me it's ...if I don't have this thing in my way, I have no excuse to not do the hard scary things,....and then nothing to blame if I fail. 😱

Hey Chief! I love all your vids and am always excited to see you post anything. You are one of my favlrite RUclipsrs. Big love to you and just remember that its not the size of the steps forward, it's that they are steps forward at all. As someone with mental health issues I know how hard that can be to remember, thats shy I have people around to remind me. They tell me the things that I KNOW, but have a hard time BELIEVING. Hearing it externally makes it more real than when I hear it in my head. Much love!
If you're in need of a song for strength I'd recommend "Swim" by Jack's Mannequin. I know I'm a broken record and recommend that song a lot. It just means so much to me, and I want to share that with other people. Big hugs and much love. See you in the next one!
NF song ‘Happy’ plays on the ‘comfort in disdain’ vibe! Also hard on the emotions. It’s a later one so would put you out of the excepted order. However if you like to colour outside the lines go for it 🖍️ 😂👍
I am so glad you are going to do the NF Journey. You have no idea the can of kick ass music and epic story you have started! Even in this song in the third verse he ties another song called No Name where he first called Fame in the journey. The journey is an unfolding story.

Being comfortable hating yourself. You asked why we do it? Well, especially for people who have lived through abuse we had it ingrained in us that we deserve our misery and are not worthy of better.
18 years of gaslighting and physical abuse later, when things go bad I go deeper into depression before I can fight my way back out, if I get back to where I even was. It takes years of showing yourself that you are worthy of better and worthy of being treated better to get past any of it. I fight it every day. In some ways I'm worse now than ever, but in others I am healing and finding ways forwards.
Trauma is a bitch. CPTSD is a bigger bitch.

It explains allot, then go from there. It's an emotional Rollercoaster ride, but an awesome one.

It's OCD it's depression it's anxiety and the ending of that song was trying to represent should he let go of some of his burdens and he didn't until as of late last year he had a child and it made him reflect more on Life as a good way instead of always looking at it as negative

The As I Lay Dying’s single is called “9/12/2024.” it’s a little weird that it is a date. The song is but it is what it is. This song is so good that I have it on repeat constantly…..🤘🏼😈🤘🏼
