As far as coaches being public figures, Rassie was just so refreshingly open and humble. He didn't have Hansen's deadpan delivery or Cheika's abrasiveness or Jones' mind games. He came across as an everyday guy who just happens to be really good at coaching. Not an ounce of ego. If you weren't alive in the '90s, you probably wouldn't have even known he was a former star player.

I followed him in the 90s and if you watch the talks, interviews and docies about him, you'll find that he has always been very tactical minded, always watching games over and over, so from a young age he was destined to go into coaching.

The deliberately false misrepresentation of what happened with Makazole Mapimpi and Franco Mostert together with the Bomb Squad at the World Cup still infuriates me. It says a lot about the spirit of the squad that they laughed off the furore of overreactive South Africans back home.

when Rassie and Jacques came along, a whole new psychology to the Team Spirit of the Game RF was born
And, amazingly they found a way as well, to deal with the bedraggelling politics foréver interfering to break their speed, Spirit, ingenuity
Thing is, he made it a pride challenge to go look for and hunt, search for ‘scraps’
He even figured that without the ball, you can go around your opponent outside of the playing field
(to illustrate how outside the box he’s foréver groping for advantages and ‘ways and means’) and its good
To honour him without the Team, and Jacques and Stokke, the Support Squad, would be impossible without honouring the Team as a whole : 33 and the original (was it 44or45?) Group they started off with
And then, the ZA Public / Multifaceted Supporters came along and did the magic in supplying the extra ‘VUMA’ endlessly:
    SUPER FANTASTIC ‼️‼️
Finally, one word to the ANC/EFF politicians now wishing to hijack the winning BOKKE / ZA RWC Trophy sharing show: you are big enough arseholes already for having disbelieved in the Bokke right from the start > stay right out of it now and leave it up to SIYA and his Team, his total Squad and Bokke Coaches,to take this winning result magic,to our ZA People, the World and share, honour humbly, extatically: he / they know but exactly what to do, how to do it AND inspire, excite, honour,
and can do so brilliantly, WITHOUT YOU POEPHOLLE‼️‼️
    Again, RasNaberStokke et Siya,the2023Bokke
