Great work mate. Shows my naivety on the intercooler. I thought the aftermarket central intercoolers were an “as well as” not an “instead of”! What’s the deal with the wet patch on the rad? A leak somewhere? I have the same patch! Nice work getting your chief mechanic involved too. Not sure I can convince mine to assist! 😂
cheers mate 👍yes one big intercooler with a bigger surface area than the 2 small side mounts, the wet patch is on the aircon rad i need to check it out,Haha yes she wanted to help out
Great video. Just fitted this APS High Performance Fuel Pump 282LPH For Audi TT MK1 1.8T Quattro - VAG65V4WD to my car, started great, but once you start to open it up it seems to hesitate and judder ant thoughts please.
When do you plan on getting the TT through an MOT ? Would be good to see some proper before and after road drives at each stage Great content and keep up the good work !
I lost my aliens with forge intercooler they were pressing up against the pipe to much i thaught was not wanting boost issue so removed them its not a mot failure so no big deal. Good video
Nice one mate I think we are lucky thats they are no longer required for the mot and mine didn't work anyway.glad to see that the big names have the same problem
great video wish you wouldve change the condensor while you were in there looks like it was leaking and the bottom piece on the right side was almost peeling but hey great job on that install thumbs up!
Nice video! Good quick guide to remove the bumper too. I subscribed, love the TT content. What are the brand and specs of your wheels? Ate you running spacers?
It fitted really well to the car but to fit the front bumper I had to remove the head light washers and trim the bumper and the grills only the side ones the middle one i didn't need to touch
Big massive shout out to ya mrs 👏👏😬
she love it mate 😂🤣😂
@@CarChris82 that’s ace was brilliant to see her getting stuck in

Cheers mate yeah the missus love the mk1 and wants to get involved 👍🏻

Its on the big list of things to do 😂
You are doing a great job there mate. That engine bay is looking sweet 👌🏼
cheers mate 👍it should be on the road soon
Is the process similar for the 180 versions? I want one on my car but I never see to find much in thew way of tutorials for the 180's
Best putting together your own kit and using a wellycooler check out my other vid
Nice video! Good quick guide to remove the bumper too. I subscribed, love the TT content. What are the brand and specs of your wheels? Ate you running spacers?
Cheers mate👍🏻the wheels came on the car and they are DRC DRM 8X 18 with 20mm spacers on the back
Your lucky in Britain not needing the geadlight washers. In Northern Ireland you do 😢
Are the 180 and 225 front mount intercoolers the same
Did you find out?
No dont think they are there different
Map sensor location? On new kit
Same place as that pipe dosnt get changed 👍🏻
great info! thanks! (might skip this FMIC for mine though lol)
Cheers mate I don't know how long I'm going to keep this one as I'm looking at others but I need to test it out
@@CarChris82 the fitment looked simple enough though! was it really that much cutting out of the front bar?
It fitted really well to the car but to fit the front bumper I had to remove the head light washers and trim the bumper and the grills only the side ones the middle one i didn't need to touch
getting that bumper back on was a bit of a faff, but well done for sorting it out. Like Roswell, your Aliens crashed and burned👽 MOT next?
Haha you know it mate.but its on the aliens didn't work anyway
@@CarChris82 well that did save having to fix them!!!!...less to worry about on the MOT too if they aren't there. win win!!!
@@pigeonguardgames507 definitely mate
Do you know if they make something like that for the 180? Obviously I only have the one side for the intake. Thanks for sharing! 🇺🇸🍻
I'm not sure sorry.you could buy a cooler and pipe work and make your own
What is your hp estimation after upgrade? Internal intercooler hoses and exhaust also limiting, ha?
It should be around 270 -280 bhp at the crank it already had a full exhaust system
@@CarChris82 did you do a remap stage 2 yet with all the cool gear on?
Not yet mate
and for MK2?
Still need to fit one to the mk2
@@CarChris82 i'm ready for stage 3 k04..only the ic Is missing
WHAT IS A ALIEN
