When the subject of age comes up, and I show my drivers license, folks thought I was 45, I'm 67. I was singing this song at work yesterday. Then I came across this video today. What's crazy is I was in the Navy and lived in Alongapo on Fendler St back in the 80's. My father listened to Junior Walker when I was a kid in Philly and all of his music grew in me. Great video.
Ahhhh Yes! Fendler st, right off Magsaysay in Olongapo. Many years ago. I lived with family in Sta Rita while working on base. US Navy.
I was sitting in a bar in Subic bay , PI and feeling lonely . A group of guys were playing music with a lead sax..... and dropping some good tips I requested this song. They played it as if Junior Walker had taken over the stage ! I,m 64 years old but I clearly remember that .
Oh Yeah! Back in the 80's those bands on Magsaysay could cover ANY & All tracks the audience could throw. Thanks for the memory!

Been to Subic Bay myself. Or better known as, Olongopo City. Them people in the PI can play anything! Country, Jass,R&B, rock. You name it. I'm 70 now but I remember those days....
