This is probably my first time seeing the Pink in different lighting conditions, so thanks for this video. It's so pale. Apple effectively has 3 "variants" of Silver this year 🤣 Also re: Siri on iPhone 4, 12 years ago, there were successful attempts to bring Siri natively to iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS devices. However, it was beyond slow and it goes to show the power of the A5 chip on the 4s. Additionally, the iPhone 4s was the first iPhone to feature noise cancelling microphones.
It's *very* pale, but honestly I really enjoy it. It looks classy while still having a bit of character. And yeah, as real as Apple's tendency towards gating software features for no reason can be...I feel like this is a situation similar to Siri on the 4/3GS: you could certainly enable the feature, but it would likely be so slow/unreliable that it would probably only make the experience seem worse for the addition. I think the far more egregious example of this, this year, is with them restricting 24mp photos to the 15 series....when the 15 series is using basically the same cameras, and the base 15 literally has the same SIP as the 14 Pro.
Double Tap is (to quote Steve) magical. I use the music app on my watch ~7 hours a day and after much troubleshooting I can’t find the issue; for no apparent reason music randomly pauses therefore it’s great I can start play with Double Tap. I’m looking forward to seeing it in 3rd party apps. I say in my experience it works 95% of the time -I can say the 5% is when the screen is not “active”. For the record I have the Ultra 2. Great video once again Sir.
4:48 at the end of the day, I have around 50% with the series 9 I plug it in while I take a shower before bed, and have enough battery to sleep track and then charge it to 100 in the morning. The battery life is perfect for my routines
The only reason why I upgraded to the 9 from my 8 is because of the new pink color I had the green series 7 and traded for the silver 8 but I saw the new pink and got the 9 now
The ultra is just so much better lol
Assistive touch works just fine for me. I compared it to a series 9 on the latest software and it’s barely better. But the S9 SoC is faster
