  • I didn’t specify in the video but the reason the corners can be an issue is because this is a calendared wrap. Most wraps like 3M use cast vinyl, basically calendared isn’t as stretchy and is thicker than cast, it goes on nice and easy but corners will lift over time if not applied correctly.

Someone recommended me TinyBot and thank God I found this video. I’m absolutely shocked with how real it looks! For interiors details this is gonna work perfect for me since I see no point in buying real carbon pieces just for aesthetic purposes

It doesnt mess up having it on the outside of the car ? Heard the laminate starts coming off due to outside conditions

I've had no issues, my other car has had a few panels CF wrapped for a couple years now with no problems. I can say it depends on how it is initially applied/overall how it's stored (garage kept vs in open sun). If it was left outside year around in the elements I'd assume it wouldn't last as long for sure.

Hey, thank you for showing me the wrap. I will be purchasing these to try out. Do you think this will stick to 80 grit sanded surface or do you think I should work my way up to a finer grit?

It should stick to the 80, I'd try a small sample piece on it first though and heat it down like you would a normal panel. If it doesn't stick then you'll have to move to a finer grit, make sure the surface is prepped. I use 70% IPA diluted 50/50 with water.

I just got a roll for my hood now I opened the tube and noticed it had a plastic film on it that pees off right ? That’s not the laminate peeling already?

Yes, that's the protective layer they use to keep it from being scratched.
