I walked this land with 3 feet of snow on it in April without my wife. We then purchased these 10 acres of raw wooded land in northern Wisconsin in the spring. We’re going back up to our property early October to see how it looks with fall colors and to meet an excavator for a driveway and clearing bid. Another video to follow.

Not in the near future but that could change over time. We definitely will be storing some food preps on our land; most likely thrive freeze dried food.
We definitely have areas on our land where we could cut some younger trees to make room for a garden.
Curious… are you growing your food? And are you in Wisconsin? (We’ll understand if you don’t want to share which state you live in)
Yeah Im near Oneida co. in Northern WI and am very familiar with the area and the resources it has to offer. As Far as going off grid, well there is deferent levels of being off grid , and at my age I like my electricity, Personaly If I had it to do all over again, I would move to the south where winter is 5-6 months long , and there is no 40 - 100 inches of snow to deal with@@SilverLiningDayDreams
If they can grow food in Alaska we sure can grow it anywhere in Wisconsin-at least I would think so@@SilverLiningDayDreams
