You can Take bus from KL sentral to Genting highland in just 12 rm it takes around 2 hour to reach
i would suggest you to stay for night and then come back because there are many things to do like amusement park , shopping , events, gaming zone, you can visit Chinese temple too , keep a spare cloth and jacket because its cold there.
